Love the show but Kate and Toby are the weakest storyline by a mile. I hope she cheats on him. Toby is annoying and way too over the top
Oh yeah, and no guy acts like that. They early days romantic stuff is thrown in there for the fifty shades crowd. It's way too caked on. My wife would LOL at me if I did half that shite.

Many times, especially when Jack is laying it on thick with his Super Husband/Father stuff I just roll my eyes.
But I still love the characters and love the show

Kate bugs the frick out of me. In other news, however, I'm loving Sophie being added to the mix. She's just what Kevin needs to dial his bullshite back. A good woman'll do that for ya.

Yep. Her and Toby storyline is the worst part of the show by far. Every conversation is about them being fat or him being over the top silly.
The show would be just fine with the other two kids storylines mixed with the flashbacks.
I also think Kate is a horrible actress. Can't believe she was nominated for a Golden Globe. The black guy and his dad and the flashback parents are much better.

Don't get the hype of this show. Saw the Xmas episode and it was too melodramatic/self-important trying to come off poignant.

Sophie is a smokeshow. Im glad they are going this route because, as a guy, as many girls as I've chased and courted over the years, there's only one i can remember everything about like what color shirt she was wearing and how her hair looked. Sophie is obviously that girl for kev

And Milo has come a long way from his days as Jess Mariano.
William is a gangsta. The egg creme scene in the last episode was kind of weird but it was cool to see Randall spend time with him over work.

I think we all know William won't make the season finale but imo if I were the producers I'd stall his cancer for another season

I feel like they are setting it up to show his less perfect side later. We know he was detached for a while and drank too much. He's made comments about not being perfect at times. We haven't really seen those times in the flashbacks. Don't get me wrong, I don't think we'll get Jack beating his kids but I think we'll eventually see some flaws.

Pretty confident that Toby and Kate are never going to get married.
