I think Jack dies in a drunk driving accident.

Right when Kevin said "I'm thinking about what my dad would do" I knew he was out of there

Same here. Powerful scene though. The flashback to Kevin ignoring Randall in their teens then showing Kevin embracing him with Randall in tears. The feels though.

Idk if they'll show Jack's death this season.

I mean, even if they do, he can still be in the show because of the way it's set up. Either they'll show Jack's death, William will die, or maybe Toby sneaky dies somehow to end the season.

Yeah, drunk driving is the obvious answer here

We wouldn't be that lucky to see Toby die.

No pun intended but I thought the scene at the play where he skips out was a little too dramatic. Nobody would do that

I remember Kate talking about her dad dying in the football episode. She didn't go into detail, but something she said stuck 2006 in my head. I kinda thought that was when Jack died, but not really sure.

Maybe. And he will always be there in flashback. The women will not stand for the character/actor not being involved.

Same. But it can be argued that while he did the "right thing" going to help out Randall, he also left a lot of people hanging at the theater and probably ruined the playwright's career (unless they can somehow spin it and save the play)

I don't think so since that would put the kids into their 20's when he dies and the funeral scene flashback shows them as high school age. I think he dies in the mid 90's. I have a feeling it is the same night as the makers on the rocks and hamburger....

Yeah, I'm thinking he might die on Valentine's Day. It sucks that he went and did the bacon cheeseburger thing on his own, without Rebecca.

Jack definitely doesn't have anyone with him when he does die, as evidenced by Randall's line to William about not croaking when no one is watching.

I am so fricking over Kate. Put your big girl panties on (cause you know they are) and open up, already. I'm lucky enough to have both of my parents around, still, but 20+ years after the fact and she still can't talk about her dad? That's supremely lame.

This should be in my top tier if not for Kate and Toby

Their bit is getting old. They are by far the worst characters. Lame fat guy who thinks he's funny but isn't.
