Herein lies the problem. We think that is true, but, according to Herschel last night, the baby has only been alive for barely a week. Meaning the phone/hallucinations/psycho Rick has only been "done with" for a few days in the story. I think the issue is that, as viewers, we haven't seen that in a few months, due to the season break. Therefore, we think he's either been over it for a long time or it's gone on for too long now. Mid-season breaks suck in that we have to re-program ourselves that it's the "same season" as before.

Very weak episode. Other than Daryl leaving the group, which he's done before, absolutely nothing happened.

Something needed to go down when Rick starting having visions. It would have set up a phenomenal cliffhanger if he had just started shooting or shot someone due to his mental problem. But instead, literally nothing came of it.

That's not my issue...I know it's only been a short time. My thing is (like someone said earlier) that he did the whole phone call shite and was hallucinating and going crazy and all that, and then they made a point to show us that he came out of all that and was okay. Why show us that if he's still crazy? We think he's over the whole "going nuts" angle because they specifically showed us that he was.

I thought the episode was bad.

Andrea's speech was just a terrible moment in TV history.

Glen/Maggie rape thing just seems contrived. She wasn't raped, you live in a zombie infested world, let's not pretend like taking off your shirt in front of the governor is some scarring experience. Glenn just comes off as a baby. If they wanted to rape her and make it an issue, they should have done that.

I think everyone is over Rick being an unstable person so I understand the criticism but one of the major themes of the show is how the character's handle living in this zombie world and it has been made very clear that Rick cannot handle everything. We just need to deal with it and hope it's a minor story line going forward.

I'm going to disagree with you here. She may not have been actually raped, but she was violated.

And they gave some good insight into why Glenn is acting the way he is on Talking Dead after the show.

Show me on this doll where they touched her.

It wasn't that big of a deal...atleast what they showed on tv. Just another day in Trillhogs world

Not to mention, as someone else said, you live in a zombie infested world where a bunch of people are going crazy. You better toughen the hell up real quick.

To be fair, Maggie handled it like a champ. But let's not pretend that, even in this post-apocalyptic world, something humiliating like that wouldn't have an affect on someone. I mean seriously..."toughen up and get over it?" That's the response to Glenn/Maggie? That's a little ridiculous IMO.

And of course she wasn't raped, but that doesn't mean she wasn't violated/humiliated by a complete and total stranger, as well as having her boyfriend used against her ("Take off your shirt or I'll bring Glenn's left hand in here..").

She and Glenn were tortured for pretty much no reason. That's enough to piss anyone off...even someone who has hardened to that kind of world.

Michonne fighting with the Gov after killing his daughter. Fight to the death kind of fight. Gov is down, Michonne grabs her sword, and then instead of slicing into him, she places the sword under his neck and tries to choke him out. WTF

Why would anyone keep that newborn around? They have no trouble killing folks so that would have been on the list to go.

They had toughened up, to the zombie threat. They got captured at a time when they finally had a decent amount of control over their lives.

Then she got mind fricked. But worse for Glenn was knowing that he was helpless to stop it.

It was just another piece of the process of realizing that people are a bigger threat than zombies, and it was their first real, upfront interaction with that threat.

Not Glenn.

Glenn was there when the Mexicans had them at gunpoint and tried to take Rick's guns. Glenn was also there in the bar when Rick had to shoot those two dudes, and then got in a gunfight with their crew, as well as the dude they took back to the farm (where Maggie was, so she knew about that).

Rick losing his grip on the real world is sort of the point of the whole story.

Ah, forgot about that.

How far into his relationship with Maggie was he at that point?

There's a lot of bitching about this episode.

Awe Rick is still crazy.
I want to see Zombies.
Andrea's speech rustled my jimmies.
What's with Axel.
Why won't they let Tyrese play.

Jesus, enjoy the damn show. It's like y'all want to whole freaking thing summed up in an hour. God, and a lot of y'all bitch about the comic readers but guess what? We don't get the luxury of waiting a week to see what happens next. We have to wait a whole damn month for maybe a 30 page issue that takes maybe 10 minutes to get through. So man up and dwi.

Hines Ward

I feel like he was cast better for this, as opposed to TDKR. No way he would have that kickoff back.

This was the kind of episode that makes me wonder why I like this show so much. I really hope this show hasn't jumped the shark, but last night was just not very good television.

In the world they live in? Yes. I understand getting angry about it, but you don't have time to dwell on it. Also, they (well Glenn anyway) was bitching at Rick because he didn't kill Merle. Why would he? Merle helped them get out and he's the brother of one of the most valuable members of the team. Then they were angry at Daryl for leaving. Its his brother. What was he supposed to do? I don't know...I usually like Glenn, but in last night's episode he annoyed the shite out of me.
