No ingame post this week, was busy jer... uhm... doing stuff. A few quick notes:
Shot-eye-guy... dude kicked some serious arse.
Subway chick... I think her song choice sucked balls and she was nervous as shite. Maybe I will see her and her old man this weekend.
Mansfield, La guy... Maybe it was nerves but he just didn't impress me. At all.
Blonde country chick... I always enjoy the folks that failed but return. This is something that is (as far as I know) unique to The Voice. She sounded fantastic and deserved to make it this time around.
Smooth country guy... he's a fricking contender. He almost seemed like he was making a dig at Blake not remembering he opened for him.
Gwen... Yeah, I caught the "waiting to see turns" thing. Hoping that's just jitters from it being her first ime.
Pharrell... I wasn't expecting much from him but damn was I wrong. He makes some excellent points and excellent pitches.
Is it just me or do they seem to be really pushing the sob stories this year? It's fricking annoying. Everyone has a sob story, I don't need to hear it. What I need to hear is them sing.
Blake looking at Gwen when he was trying to talk then saying to her "Don't speak..." fricking gold.

I felt like every single person had a sob story so far. No story, no audition...that's what it's starting to look like. It's overkill.

He is do damn good. I think this is the best group of coaches the show has ever had when it comes to chemistry. I liked Usher and Shakira, but I like how this group has Blake/Adam and Pharrell/Gwen, and everyone likes each other so much that they can't stay loyal.

Watching the tape. Sweet Pea guy won't last long. Blond hat girl will get old fast. I'm surprised Adam didn't turn. He usually likes those strange voices in which all the songs sound the same.
The Rolling Steins cantor made me laugh. He can play the fiddle, but his voice isn't too good and he talked through most of the song. Blake saying he'd have liked more range was an understatement. He barely sang at all. Didn't deserve a turn.
I didn't think Ricky subway was so great. I'm surprised he got two chairs. He also has that annoying grabbing the crotch issue going on. I thought he had jock itch.

Jamaican girl was the only performance that I liked. Glad she was able to kill it on her second time.

The Dallas girl was good. Very nervous. If she beats the nerves, she's got potential. Hard to tell. M
Stevie Wonder Jr sounded nervous when he started, but I liked him during the last part. Not sure how long he'll stay. He can't be behind again.
The gymnast impersonator was meh. Gwen finally turning around on her own this show. She was all by her lonesome on this dude for good reason.

I think it was his fiddle playing that got him on TV. I'd have rather seen some of the folks we missed.
