I can't help but roll my eyes with the big reveal of Corey Stoll shaving his toupee but besides Fet basically putting his eyeball in the wall, daring the vamp to infect him this episode was fine.

Also The Strain renewed for season 3, so at least we aren't on this so-so ride for nothing.

There's 3 books, all written by del Toro, so it would make sense that there are 3 seasons.

I DVR it and watch it around 10-11. Hate the commercials so never watch it live.

good episode. I was pissed when they killed of the Born, but this new guy looks really bad arse.
This chemical weapons story line is great.

Also like Bolivar becoming the master.

It's getting better. I thought for a second there Zach was gonna try to bang Norah and I was going to like him from then on but they didn't go that route.

Me too. Seems like the Master has trust issues and wants Nazi dude along for the ride.

I think they are getting better. I think the church scene was nice. Nora should have ran out of the church though when the vamp mom was trapped. I wonder if Zach is going to stop being douchey now he saw his mom go psycho.

New vamp dude is pretty cool. They are moving the Angel story too slow. I haven't read the comics/books so I don't know what happens but it seems like he will play some role but it is moving terribly slow.

I really wish they would address this vagina neck thing. How did they not just look at it when they made the creatures and sit back and say "hmm, that looks like a vagina."

It annoys me that nobody is really taking this thing seriously in the cities. Is Epp (sp?) the ONLY person trying to come up with a way to kill these?

How have the cops not figured out silver and UV? Do they not watch TV? shite man, try stuff out.

Angel was a wrestler with a hatred for the "vampire" (actor) who took him out of his career. He hates vampires more than anything else. His most popular movies were of him fighting vampires. He is called the "Silver Angel" and he just saw his first real vampire. I like where it's going.
Though it looks like the infection is a lot less widespread than in the books, in the books there was no Staten Island and Red Hook cleaning. They are easy reading. The second is my favorite. The first book and first season were hand in hand, this season has differentiated a lot.

The Alderman from Staten Island seems to have the idea, and her police now know about UV and Silver from Fett.

I've been marathoning season 1. I have had it on Blu-ray since it was released, but never got around to it. Now I need to find the early season 2 episodes to DVR.
