one thing i'd love an explanation on, it is so absurdly easy to turn someone into a vampire (all it takes is a graze from that frog tongue), why are there almost no vampires in the world when the master is clearly at least 2000 years old.

Book reader here, the Ancients is probably something you should wait on. It kind of spoils the entire plot of the series. It should be explained relatively soon if I recall correctly.

The the second book the condition of the city is described to be much much worse than it is on TV. But you can see towards the end of the last episode with high rises on fire that it's getting to be pretty bad. But nowhere near how bad it is in the book.

they never really explained the vampire hunters on the show. the leader of them did say that they didn't like the master or his minions. so i think they pretty much followed the other ancients and their creed

Yeah the constant diarrhea face is the absolute worst. It's not the kids fault, but his body language and mannerisms make it worse.

Yep, the first kid wasn't great, but this one is just awful.
