Haven't seen anyone mention this one, but I really, really liked the first 2 episodes. Third one tonight after Suits. Jessica Beil has been outstanding so far. I was presently surprised because I don't normally care for too many series on USA Network.

I didn't see last week.

She came damn close to killing herself before brutally stabbing that young man. That was savage

Yeah, her switch flipped to psycho real fast when that song came on. That was worse than Norman in Bates Motel in the shower. Still can't believe that can be shown on cable TV these days.

Caught the first two episodes this week on demand. Did a search earlier today and was surprised no threads yet. Solid so far, but it could go either way moving forward.

It's gotten a lot of love from critics, but I don't know how many episodes they were allowed to screen.

I watched the first episode. While I like the premise and story line I found myself almost yelling out loud at this thing to MOVE ALONG. I understand that in early episodes you have to build characters and back story, but damn it was slow. I cancelled the series recording on my dvr after because I know I will not be back until the last episode to see the outcome.

By the way,

Was Cora a drug addict (heroin) or were those scars from abuse by her mom or family?

Sorry about the spoilers. At first it wasn't anything that wasn't given away in the trailers. Updated the thread title.

Episode 3 wasn't quite as good IMO, but not a bad little cliff hanger at the end.

I think that's what we find out next episode, but neither would surprise me. Seems like someone was injecting her against her will, but who knows.

i am wondering how this dead body is linked to cora

First 3 episodes are good, luke warm on last nights episode.

SPOILERS:

Not keen on the meditation to remember bit, seems lazy. I also don't quite get why they (the investigator and husband) are focusing so hard on this JD guy. I mean, I get it, she was with JD at some point in the past but it was made very clear that she has a connection to Frankie (the guy she killed) and his song. Why aren't they going after Frankie's group of friends/background/connections/etc.? I assume they'll circle back around to it later though.

I tried to watch it. Seemed way too Lifetime movieish to me. Gave up before finishing episode 1.

I agree that this week's episode wasn't as good as the others. Maybe, hopefully, it's just a set up episode. Still think Jessica Beil is killing it. It's also kinda creepy how much her husband looks like Jon Snow. At least he does to me.

There is some validity of using hypnosis to retrieve repressed memory with trauma and PTSD victims.

Apparently the book is good

I'm guessing the guy in the mask was her dad?
