seems like it, but I'm so confused about the time travel thing and how she knows what's going on.

think of it like Back to the future 2 when Marty goes back to an alternate 1985.

You'd think that at this point skynet would have advanced from the liquid metal and moved on to something better. Maybe some kind of cloaking similar to the predator.

pretty sure the liquid metal is the greatest weaponized system we have ever seen. It is literally indestructible by 99.9% of the stuff on Earth

I still think Jai Courtney is a horrible choice for Kyle Reese but it looks entertaining.

This. I don't dig Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor......but Emilia Clarke doe.

Looks interesting enough, but I most likely won't see this in theaters.

I don't get it. How does this one mesh with all the others? Does it just ignore the other ones or something?

Am I missing something here, or is this just putting Terminators 1 and 2 in a blender?

They added 5th dimensional beings.

Its a different timeline where a T800 was sent back to protect Sarah as child and Paw terminator raises her.

Right now maybe, but we are talking about the future here. You can't destroy what you can see.

I honestly don't know how I feel.

The future scenes seemed a bit too "shiny" (a weird complaint I know) and advanced, not as gloomy as I hoped. Some parts I liked, and others I did not.

I'M SO CONFUSED ABOUT MY FEELINGS

Is there a reason they used a retard's spelling of "genesis" though? I can't get passed that little detail.

From what I understand this is the first in a trilogy so who know what they have in store. I really liked the how crazy the Sarah Connor Chronicles got towards the end of the series. It had multiple resistance fighters and various terminator factions fighting the war in two timelines.

I'm cautiously optimistic about this. I really dug the first three movies. They have a decent cast for this.

So the plot seems like the most confusing thing ever. Geez.
