I agree that it’s unlikely she’s helping him in the BB era but nothing in Ham’s theory has necessarily been proven wrong yet.

last night's episode (S6E09) proved this wrong. Kim leaves him (major event) & he fully turns into Saul without her there. Not saying it was an immediate flip of the switch, but they made it pretty obvious that he fully turns into Saul because she left.
S6E09 also proved Ham was wrong about this:

Yep. Jimmy held back because of Kim as he was trying to protect her. Without her to worry about we get the full Saul.
