I think guys like the motorcycle will just be guys that come into play as witnesses. They did a good job of showing what was happening around him and how it will come up in later episodes

Just realized that when the series comes back on July 10 that it will be a repeat of episode 1. That sucks. We have to wait until July 17 for the next episode.

Just watched. What I think they really did a great job of is showing how nonchalant the police in the station are No matter what the crime. The couple over nighters I did I remember thinking man my life might be fricked and these cops couldn't give 2 shits, talking about overtime and whatnot. That really hit home
Also, everyone assumes the hearse driver and the sidewalk friend were insulting and mugging the girl, respectively. What if the "do you want to be my next passenger" question was because he saw something crazy in Naz, not the girl and the sidewalk look was because that guy saw the same thing? Just something to think about

I agree. But they also weren't aware of the crime until they found the knife on him later on

It'll be a nice summer lineup with this and Vice Principals also premiering July 17th

Just watched and didn't read through the whole thread. Knowing what was going to happen to due to previews, an interesting moment was when she confessed to him that she couldn't be alone that night as they sat along the river. The Jesus

They wanted him to get tested for booze, the lady cop said as much when they finally got back to the precinct.
There are just barely enough holes to make this feasible. Bodie is already lying about his home being there, and the evidence has left the CoC.

I'm just going to add something about all the scenes that take place in the apartment that wasn't mentioned, especially the knife into the hand scene.
That being that we can't be certain all those scenes happened the way they did. They could all be Naz's interpretation/story of what happened there. Unreliable narrator sort of thing.

This will definitely be interesting since the implication was the sex was really rough as evidenced by the multiple scratches on Naz's back seen during the police observation. I wouldn't be surprised if the autopsy results do show physical evidence that could be consistent with sexual assault. Combined with Naz's statement about sex that definitely makes him appear really creepy.
I also want to see her toxicology report, I wouldn't be surprised if she had way more drugs in her system than Naz.

I don't know a whole lot about that kind of testing but I'm pretty sure unless Naz had a footlong, that as long as she was into it that it wouldn't come back as sexual assault. But I could be talking out my arse
But something is going to start flipping the case, or atleast show the need for more investigation

Also, I think the chick knew some bad shite might happen to her by the way she said "I can't be alone tonight". I know that the show portrayed that as her meaning she didn't wanna do that molly alone, but she had a fear in her eyes when she said it.
Also, what's up with the deer? They kept showing the deer head. And that knife may not be the one that killed her. It only had a bit of blood on it from the hand stab, and it was on the table where they left it. That might flip the case. It could prove he was trying to hide it out of fear, and didn't even realize that wasn't the knife that was used in the killing.
