Was the hearse driver the same dude with Bode?
And the whole door thing didn't make sense. It was locked when he went out and then the cop was just able to open it?
Does it auto lock or not?

Sidenote, this is apparently adaptation of the BBC mini-series "Criminal Justice". Might want to check that out

The cop clearly opened it without sticking his hand through the broken window though?

How do we know that Naz properly closed the door. I remember the cop shining his flight thru the opening and yelling "Is anyone home".
Also, I'm curious about that rooftop gate could be another way into the apartment. I would be pretty shocked if Naz actually did kill this female. Remember he wasn't covered in blood and the knife was placed in the same spot as before they went into the bed.

re-watched. He clearly shuts the door completely the second time he leaves...
And rooftop gate? Do you mean the ground level where she put the cat out? Def. could have been left open..
I think the guy with Bode will def. have something to do with it. Like maybe he was with that girl before or something.
He gave them a mean arse stare down.

No shite. That was made 100% obvious when Bode told the cop that he was walking by alone.

As of right now, I don't think Naz did this crime for a number of reasons. I really don't get why he took the knife with him (but hindsight 20/20. I don't believe that is the murder weapon).
Also, while they were sitting by the river she doesn't really go into the relationship she had with her father. Maybe it's possible that he was doing some dirty business.

TO be fair, she was coked out and also what i assume was molly/ecstasy, so its possible she is completely out of it at that point
Unless she's railing an entire 8 ball in 30 minutes of the purest coke out of Colombia, then she's definitely feeling a knife go thru her hand. Even then you would still likely feel a lot of pain

Unless she was on PCP or some shite that's not a good excuse. She was fairly coherent at the time. Took a few shots, what I'm assuming was an x tab, and a couple bumps, and then she can't feel a knife thru her palm? I wouldn't be surprised if that was on a NCIS episode or something like that, but with HBO I expect better. Still loved the show tho

his clothes were on when they started though, and that bitch was bleeding everywhere

but yeah he had no blood at all on his body or anything
especially his face and head. She rubbed her hand all over his face and hair right? seems like he either cleaned himself up or someone else did. Which wouldn't make a lot of sense for someone else to do.
Yea, that's definitely odd

The show got exponentially better when Johnny T came on screen.
The Box character is semi interesting as well.
I'm excited for this one.

No doubt. The look he gave them as they walked in the house and bode telling Box he was alone

Agree. Everything after the murder was great TV

Which kind of gives off the vibe that the killing happen while he was passed out in the kitchen. It's not like Naz had a change of clothes in the taxi. In his blackout state he must have gotten on his boxers and tee. It's all very odd.
So far, him not asking for an attorney immediately was his worst move. His second worse move was taking that knife with him.
quote:I was waiting for it to click in Naz's head that everyone in the police station is not on his side during this kind of situation. Again, hindsight is 20/20. But i would have hoped for him to keep his mouth shut.

Loves the first episode. They mentioned a couple times that they weren't sure the knife was serrated or not. Thought that may have been a clue as well.

know plenty of cops and not a single one is going to stop someone for making an illegal left turn at 3 or 4am when they're about to get off shift(and if they were 2 hrs past end of shift like she said more than once), their shift was over when they pulled him over. Never gonna happen. Their also not taking the kid on a call. Whole thing seemed very stupid.
Doesn't surprise me. Bitch was stupid, lots of cops are stupid.
They pull you over for whatever they want.
Considering the kid says he didn't do it, it's possible she was mixed up with other people and is just a drugged up crazy bitch.
People like pain, just because you don't believe it, doesn't mean that people aren't into that shite.
Kid was being profiled, he was scared. He has no recollection of the murder. He also was drinking, popped a pill and did blow, he wouldn't be in the rt state if mind to take in this particular situation. Lives at home, zero priors.
It is actually all very believable.

How do you pay so much attention to the door and not the characters?
Whether it auto locks or not shouldn't matter, plus how would any of us know that? Naz busted the window to get in, I'm just assuming the door is now unlocked.
I swear people nit pick the dumbest shite.

I think he thought telling them that he had only had sex once before would help his case, when in fact it makes the whole rapist claim the police are making seem more likely
It'll be interesting when they get the autopsy back and it says there was no evidence of a rape. Will have to find a new motive
