frickkk that was an intense episode. Felt like i was on pins and needles through the whole thing. Whoever directed and edited it has some serious talent for creating a mood. I am super hooked
I love all the emphasis they put on the tiny details of the night you can tell are gonna be big parts of the plot in the future, like the hearse driver, the places he shows up on camera, and everything he touches in the apartment
Kid seems guilty as frick and i dont see anyway out of it, especially with a bottom of the barrel lawyer. I think they have planted some seeds for the future like sending the evidence away without following procedure and having one of the witnesses being a caricature of a racist
how am i gonna wait til july 10th and then survive 8 weeks of that?

The girl just gave no fricks about being stabbed in her palm and apparently feels no pain at all
And Naz just goes with it like it wasn't that big of a deal while her hand is dripping blood everywhere
And of course Naz has to try to run from the police.... While in the police station
I mean, these aren't things that downgraded the show for me, i liked it overall. Just a couple parts where I was like "really?"

I watched it earlier and it's ok, but I've got some problems with it, not the least of which is when the girl gets stabbed straight through her hand and into the table with a rather large knife, but no one seems to care. They pull out knife and go upstairs and frick.
It's other stupid shite that bothered me. The 2 cops pull over Naz for making an illegal left turn. Female cop is a bitch but guy cop says to forget about it. They then decide to take him with them b/c they get another call, but he's not under arrest.
They get to the call and leave the kid in the backseat. The female cop keeps trying to leave b/c she says they're already 2 hrs past their end of shift.
I know plenty of cops and not a single one is going to stop someone for making an illegal left turn at 3 or 4am when they're about to get off shift(and if they were 2 hrs past end of shift like she said more than once), their shift was over when they pulled him over. Never gonna happen. Their also not taking the kid on a call. Whole thing seemed very stupid.

The first part about the stabbing part I agree with obviously from my last post, but I thought they were 2 hours past shift once the crime scene unit and detective got there, not when they pulled him over. But yea, the whole "just take the kid with us" part was odd too

its still weird that he was passed out in the kitchen for all this. How could someone else plan for him to be incapacitated and not have him wake up during a brutal stabbing to death
Im a little worried that they are gonna come up with some weird logical leaps in order to have someone else be the murderer. It will be an interesting twist if they come in the end and he gets off and then we find out he did do it

Strange the knife was back in the original spot.
And also what happened to the yayo vial that he grabbed.
Might turn out that he did do it and is crazy schizo with pent up rage being a muslim in the USA.
Will be interesting though, this show reminds me a lot of "the killing" already. Which is a good thing.

It's also two floors below the bedroom... The chill room they were in was on the 2nd floor and bedroom on the 3rd.

another interesting aspect of the show is how little we know about the girl. How does she live in that nice house? shes got daddy issues, is he a drug king pin or something maybe? Its really hard to speculate because they give you nothing in the previews about where it might be going, which is a good thing

the pilot gave us a few teasers with the hearse guy, Bodie's friend, and our main character dealing with being a Muslim in NY. At this point, it is far more likely he did it in a blackout rage than anyone else. The door to get in the building was locked and then they'd have to get in her apartment as well. Then, as you mentioned earlier, all the stars would have to align for bro to be asleep downstairs.
Did anyone else notice he only had blood on his hands? It should have been all over his face and clothes and shite too. Maybe I missed it.
