I keep hearing lots of people talking about the leftovers and thinking of watching it. What's it like or what would you compare it to?

We love dramas like BB, lost, GoT, Bloodline, Peaky Blinders, Homeland

I've heard it's really out there and that scares me, but then again Lost is on my Mount Rushmore

Absolutely. The first 3-4 episodes are a little slow as they set up the world, but once you get past that it's the best show on TV

Get on it ASAP. Season 1 is great but Season 2 is where it finds it's niche and becomes some of the best television I've ever seen.

It's comparable to an R-rated LOST the most IMO. Especially considering it's Damon Lindelof's show.

Haven't seen it but I have both seasons on DVR. Outside of the first 5-6 episodes of season 1, each episode rating is sky high on IMDB.

Had multiple people tell me it was awful, so I stayed away. Got bored few weeks ago over Thanksgiving and decided to give it a shot.

As others have said, stick with it. Glad I did, show is awesome. Episode 3 got me hooked. Season 2 is fantastic.

I just started it last week and am 3 episodes into the first season and love it. Not sure how the first few episodes are slow. I found them highly engaging and entertaining, especially the first 2.

It is a little out there right now, but can see how it's going to get even further out there.

So they've already confirmed they'll stop after 3 seasons?

And honestly since it should have been cancelled by a pure ratings stand point, this 3rd and final season is a treat to us true fans. I am so glad we get one more and if any show would be perfect in a 3 seasons run it's The Leftovers.

I know for me, I have never thought the first two were slow, but maybe confusing is the word. So much stuff comes out in the first two episodes that leave you like "What?". Then came the Preacher Matt episode that just focused on him and told his story to that point and I think that is when people realized that all of this "craziness" was going to have a point. I also loved how the 10th (I think anyways) episode could and should have been the first of the whole series. Just amazing storytelling!

Definitely watch it, especially considering the list of shows you liked in the past.

Season 1 is good but does start a little slow. Season 2 is one of the best seasons of any TV show I have seen, right up there with Lost and Breaking Bad during their peak.

Absolutely. Definitely a little bit weird, but the acting is staggeringly good. Some of the best acting in a television series - ever.
