I'm not sure what to think of this show.
It started off AMAZING. Then as they added more and more people, it just became more and more cringe-worthy.
Phil became so ridiculous and unlikeable, that it just wasn't enjoyable at all. And I wasn't the only one who thinks that, judging from what even the stars have said about the show.
I hope they have addressed that.

Most cringe worthy show I've ever watched. Can't believe it made it to Season 2. I'll prob watch.

They writers said they realized some of their mistakes and will make corrections.

That's good to hear, because there were definitely some problems.

It would be great if they went back to Tucson and all of the other characters were dead. Especially January Jones.

Same here. For a show called the Last Man on Earth they could have used that premise a bit longer... By the 4th episode they had 4 other characters

They should have kept him alone for at least a few episodes. I get that would have required a lot of effort on the writers part to make it work, but that first episode worked SO well, I think they could have gotten at least 2-3 episodes out of it.

I loved every episode of the first season.
Alot of people shite in the writers because they didn't make Phil lovable and they didn't make everyone happy in lala candy rainbow land.
I loved that it was just a random collection of people and personalities. It was a dark ublikeable character comedy. My favorite type of entertainment. Phil was an awesome character. They all were.

Pretty much sums it up for me. I liked castaway version of phil much better when he was talking to himself, un-shaven and just trashing shite. I quit watching and deleted the last few episodes off the DVR. He is just whiny and annoying now.

The last couple episodes Phil talks about why he is terrible and actually changes his ways a bit. It's a nice turn in the show. With Jason Sudekis coming on, it could get a lot better too.

Sudeikis is probably a ways out from being a consistent character, considering his current circumstances.
