Was gonna be my question as well. It wouldn't have made much sense if you hadn't seen the first season. Unless he's talking about the first season.

I watched until those 2 new women showed up and then it just got to be too sophomoric for me. Not that it wasn't before.
I love the concept, but it could be so interesting. Instead it's just "look how cool it is to destroy stuff in the White House."
So, ya, I guess not my thing in general.
edit: I decided to give it another try last night. Lasted until the guy tells the worms he's going to masturbate. Just shook my head and turned it off.

I wondered how they were going to pay for Will Ferrell

The must have paid him Sudekis' salary for this episode.

Any guesses as to why the note said that it wouldn't be safe for Tandy?
re: The Last Man On Earth - Season 2 ThreadPosted by lsuwontonwrap on 10/5/15 at 8:02 pm to Warfarer
Because the other Phil hates him and I assume he's taken over as the group leader. He already left Tandy in the middle of the desert for dead.
Had to LOL when Will dropped dead. A similar thing happened to his character on The Office (he was badly injured).

right. The entire group hates phil pretty seriously, and new phil has already attempted to kill him once, and said don't ever come back.
I've very curious to see the group dynamic once they inevitably reintrocude phil back in. First of all (judging by the previews at the end of this week's ep) carol says he's dead, which is stupid. There' no way to organically bring him back in after that, espeically without it looking like an idea Phil came up with, which will make them hate him more.
I wonder if time will have healed some wounds or if they'll still all be in the bitter barn towards him.

I love the whole thing with Phil and what gas station he left Carlo at for days

Yeah, I was disappointed when I saw the previews and her saying that he was dead. That makes no sense whatsoever.
But I'm interested to see the group dynamic as-is. I hope they get into that a little bit before bringing the Tandy Man back into the picture, because it will be funny to see how things change once he is brought back in. I'm hoping that things just seemed all kumbaya on the beach, but are really breaking down within the group, and Phil can sort of come in and save the day so to speak. That would be great.
Also not thrilled that Will Ferrell is showing up. I hope that angle doesn't suck.

He died at the end of the last episode...

I thought that last episode was hilarious.
This is my second favorite show on TV after Rick and Morty.

Been good chemistry & raffs. I'm sticking with it, and hoping they don't 86 Phil's charm after two episodes like last year. I like Ferrel ok, but if they don't just have him die (which would be a great cameo) I've seen his square-glasses routine like 20 times already.

I liked these first two episodes a lot.
However now that the gang is back I'm very concerned. I'm pretty sure I'll hate it.

I'm hoping they have to leave the gang again with the quickness. Maybe Sudeikis will play a role in that. Maybe his escape pod will just slam down on top of them or something, but I agree. I don't want them to recycle everything from last year.

would be great if they went back to Tucson and all of the other characters were dead. Especially January Jones.
THIS.
I hate her character so much. In fact I hate all of the characters except for forte. I get that his actions and motives have been pretty detestable, but him constantly getting shite on is annoying.
I really like this season.
I like that Phil and Carol are in it together. And Phil needs Carol. And they're partners in crime. They've transformed each other.
I like that Carol is willing to stick up for him.

Not necessarily. We just saw him have a(n apparent) heart attack. We don't know if he is dead or not.
And of the Tucson crew, I definitely hate most of them, but I do like Friggin Todd, if for no other reason than to see Phil bitch about him.
