I still only saw two of the lord of the rings...never finished it.

Saw preview for The Hobbit...and to be honest didn't look that interesting

Return of the King was the best of the three.

Anyone else notice Bilbo kinda looks like Pippin?

I can't wait for this. Will definitely have to re-read the book before it comes out. It's been a long while.

i think Martin Freeman is going to KILL it as Bilbo. He's great in Sherlock and the British office

Agreed. And Benedict Cumberbatch voicing the dragon.

Sherlock is a badass show.

I think they'll both be pretty epic just in different ways. I'm a big Batman fan, always have been so I get stoked for those movies when they come out and I think Nolan is set up to conclude one of the great trilogies in cinema history which is exciting.

But with how epic LotR was and The Hobbit having the same crew, look, and feel to it...it is by far my most anticipated movie of the year.

You should enjoy it. It's a fairly fast read. Light reading compared to Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones.

Looking forward to the movie. There is a lot of action in the book which should translate very well to the screen.
