I have no idea how Leslie Jones continues to get 3 minute sketches on SNL much less full length feature films.

kate mckinnon is really funny (although it seems that she's the 4th GB and may be wasted in this movie)
wig can be really funny, but i don't know if making her the quiet nerd GB is really playing to her strengths
mccarthy is the fat lady (who isn't even that fat). i dunno what's going to happen with her, but we know she's going to be dumb and fat and that's her jokes
jones...who finds her funny? honestly my mind is always blown away when i see her do anything
the 2 unfunny actresses get their stereotypical characters to a T while the 2 funny cast members may be miscast

I hate this movie because I waited 27 years for a Ghostbusters sequel, hearing rumors about one in development almost every single year.
And when it finally comes, it's a remake that pretends the first film never happened. With a shitty cast, shitty costumes, an ugly Ecto-1 and awful proton packs.

Saw this fricking shite going around. Good god some men these days are such apologists. It's sickening. This movie wasn't made for little girls. To suggest such a thing is asinine and disingenuous.

I have an idea.
Because the victim business made a big deal about SNL not having enough black women on the cast. So instead of trying to find actually funny black women, they just scooped up whatever dog turd unfunny ones were available and now they can't get rid of them because that would be "racist".

that's my whole thing about casting an all-female set of GBs. the original movie wasn't some misogynist party. hell venkman was laughed at harshly by dana b/c he did act that way. dana was a pretty strong female lead who was only foiled by a goddamn demon. 2 of the males in the original GB were beta nerds. and louis was a super beta.
that's kind of my beef with kate mckinnon's character. they can't replicate the same feel without really talking some shite about the female characters, so they have one nerd (wig's character) and one fricking insane-o, whacky member. it's just such a waste b/c they're forcing it SO hard

If that were the case, wouldn't all trailers featuring McCarthy / Wiig, etc, be downvoted in a similar pattern? Wouldn't it be the same for Amy Schumer, Sandra Bullock, etc etc?
The "sexist" argument doesn't work when other female-centric films are not being ripped apart like this one is.

The sad part is that the trailer is actually pretty good until Leslie Jones shows up. She'll ruin the whole movie.
