The worst thing that could happen is this movie being highly successful. Then you can look forward to all women reboots being shoved down our throats. It is a copycat industry.

If you're going to redo a classic it better be amazing.
If they wanted to make me laugh they would have told jokes to the ghost of Christopher Hitchens before zapping him. I doubt there will be anything even that creative.

the trailer just makes me mad. its such a spit in the face of the original
and the huge black chick leslie jones. she might be the worst actress on TV right now. shes a one trick pony- talk loud and use black jokes and people will laugh.

There is a world's difference between Star Wars and this reboot of Ghostbusters. Star Wars is a new story and they used a female lead that worked really well in the story. Only the retards around here complained.
This film is just such an obvious push of a bullshite "woman power" agenda. I really don't have a problem with girl power films - some of them are actually pretty good. The problem comes when you take a story that's already loved by fans and you add an all-female cast to basically the same story. Add to the fact that trailer makes it look like absolute shite and you're going to have people pissed. Then, after you've made this bad film that rips the nostalgia of older fans, you start abut any criticism with cries of misogyny. It's going to run people the wrong way.

Well said. I liked Star Wars, but I have heard them hinting at shoehorning in a gay couple. If it adds to the story fine, but don't do it just to be pc.

Coming this summer, the Blue Sisters! With special appearances by Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, and Beyounce!
I think men would burn down the movie studio if that ever happened.
We haven't even seen the movie yet, but this could be just another movie that tries to use the idea of woman power to sell a product and then give more offensive stereotypes about women (I.e. They need a man, shopping is so cool, etc).
Plenty of all female cast movies have been really good and great. But those are because the story dictates that women naturally should be in those roles. You gender swap Fried Green Tomatoes and the movie is a giant piece of garbage.
I don't like that trailer. I wont go see this movie. Don't tell me it is because I am a sexist. I didn't go see Fantastic Four despite loving comic book movies. I try to avoid going to see movies that I know will be bad.

I threw on an obligatory dislike on Youtube. This movie looks like a genuine pile of shite that will hopefully tank at the box office and will send a signal to Hollywood to quit fricking remaking and changing the greats. My eyes will never glance in the direction of that shitshow.

We wanted a Ghostbusters 3, not a new Ghostbusters with female cast. Movie idea should have been shelved the day Egon died.
