No. We are rooting for it to fail because we don't like Hollywood sacrificing a good movie to push their ideas. If I want to pay money to be preached at I will go to church.

If this weren't an all-female cast, people wouldn't actively hope it fails as much as they currently are.

Female casts have made money. You think a studio is going to make a film because they want the push some feminist message and sacrifice money?

Also, how is this Hollywood "sacrificing" a good movie? What is being sacrificed?

It will make money simply because it is called Ghostbusters. What they are sacrificing is an attempt to make a good movie just to shoehorn in an all woman cast. It just screams gimmick all the way.

I agree with that. I said before without Bill Murray this should not have been made. This movie seems like nothing but a cash grab.

Bill Murray has a cameo in this one. He didn't want to do Dan Akroyd's Ghostbusters 3 because he didn't like the script.

Jesus Christ, my liberal schtick is mainly to irritate people but some of you guys (most of you) belong in the 1950s south.

It's stunt casting, simple as that.

They could have made a movie about paranormal detectives starring 4 women, not call it Ghostbusters, and no one would have cared or reacted.

Calling it Ghostbusters was the problem, that reeks of stunt casting, not creating a unique story that just happens to star 4 women.

Once again it's not about us being sexist. It is about us seeing a publicity stunt rather than a well thought out movie. I get that they are running a business, but can we not try to make a good movie and make money at the same time.

How is it misogynistic when you have plenty of women criticizing it on YouTube? So these women hate their own gender because of it? Or they hate it because the content sucks? Hmmm, which one is more logical?

If you recut the trailer to remove all of Leslie Jones's scenes, it's really not that bad at all.

But, like Jesse Eisenberg, she takes an otherwise flawed but watchable movie and turns it into a steaming pile of dog shite

She is the worst. As soon as I saw her I knew the movie would suck. It could have the original cast plus her and I wouldn't watch it.

They just assumed they could shovel out a shite script with an unfunny cast, make it all women to be edgy, slap ghostbusters on it and they'd have a moneymaker on their hands.

They judged wrong
