The white symbol is the one that is the most recognized comic book version of the symbol. So it just signifies that the flash we see with it is the Flash from the original/future timeline.

I agree. The show overall has taken another step since the episode that Flash went back in time. It has definitely hit its stride.
And Routh definitely is killing it with the Palmer character. I love him and Felicity's back and forth banter.

Routh is awesome. I hope he can overcome the Superman curse. He is a good actor and was an awesome Superman.

Sorry but I will always see Routh as Superman. He looked the part and was more than appropriate successor to Christopher Reeve. Its a damn shame we never got see him get really physical with a bad guy but that's what happens when you let Bryan fricking Singer go overboard witt the artsy shite.
There was some very subtle references to Routh's Superman role in this episode and it was first the bird and plane comments when he first flew into the scene outside and then there was the heroic music when he went and changed into his suit and then there was the flying motions that was so very similar to how he flew as Supes instead of flying something like Iron Man.
If Superman was going to be on live tv like flash and arrow, I want Routh for the part but sadly that's not an option as he's entrenched into Ray Palmer pretty well. I'm thinking maybe Joe Mangiello from True Blood? He was rumored to be Supes in Man of Steel before Henry Cavill won the role.
Anyway, I still like iris but she needs to tone down the attitude a bit before public opinion turns on her in a bad way.
Ths was a good episode overall and the bad guy was nice filler while advancing the real endgame with Wells. Now that everybody knows, let's see if they're good enough actors to carry on as normal and not arouse suspicion from wells. But then again, wells may be so fast he's invisible and listened and watched their conversation at CCPD. Who knows?

Yeah it also appears Flash has an inkling that Wells is not really Wells. I assume he will do some research and realize that Tess dying coincides (well w/I a short time I would guess) with the murder of his mom. It looked like they showed a quick shot of them exhuming a body (or maybe I saw it wrong) in next weeks teaser

Not a comic reader so I have zero info besides what's in the show. What is the name of the character Routh played. Is he from Arrow? I know felicity is from the last crossover episode.

I definitely think so. His comment when he showed them the bee was something to the effect of "The answer to powering the suit isn't about making the power source bigger, it's making it smaller". So I would have to believe that is a definite foreshadowing his eventually gaining his shrinking power.

As stated above, yes. The nano-bot solution to his blood clot on Arrow was also a nod to his upcoming shrinking powers. He told the doctor that he had nano-bots that would (once in Ray's body) shrink the blood clot.
The sooner Ray begins to shrink, the better.

I wonder what all Cisco is going to do with the sonic device. Hopefully he'll make it to where she'll be able use it as a vocal device so that it becomes closer to the canary cry.
