I think the velocity formula may be a clue. Why didn't he know that was what's wrong with him and not that zoom stole his speed. Also, we already saw something similar with reverse and he tricking everyone with the multiple phases.

I didn't go back over the whole thread but the man in the iron mask looked to be Barrys dad to me.

Yeah, at first I though it was Diggle because of the mask, and because he was using a POW code. But they showed an upclose view of the back of his head and the person had blond hair. Plus he was coding the word Jay, so I think that is Jay. And if that guy is Jay, then the dude back on earth 1 is some sort of imposter, or something.
Or maybe Earth 1 Jay is not actually dead?

Earth 1 Jay was never dead. That's Hunter Zoloman on the bench that Jay pointed out.
Or, The "Jay" now is not Jay but actually Hunter Zoloman and he found his double on Earth 1 and just said that was Hunter/Jay's double. But the masked guy is actually Jay.

Idk I have a hard time believing that Jay we know was way better at being fake than the previous Wells.
No way he is working with Zoom, just wouldnt make any sense.
And if he is an imposter then what is the end game?

If Earth 2 Jay is a fake, wouldn't Earth 2 Wells know this since he knows what he looks like? Was he somehow transformed to look like Jay?
Maybe the reason his cells are deteriorating is because this fake Jay was using the Velocity shots to make him look like a speedster and it was basically just killing him slowly.
