I've heard twice about this recently including an interview with the director. This is a documentary of the Superman movie that would have been directed by Tim Burton Staring Nick Cage as Superman and written by Kevin Smith. Supposedly it's a great look at the ins and outs of Hollywood. Comes out soon.

On a side note, the director mentions trying to speak with Nick Cage. He said Cage looked like a defeated man. Said he wouldn't go on record with anything because he was worried about how anything he says and does would be misconstrued. Seemed pretty fricked up

How Jon Peters ever got work is beyond me. fricktard tried to ruin every project he was given. Simply by thinking he was always the smartest guy in the room. The giant spider conversation Kevin Smith made famous, comes to mind for an example.

Where can I watch it? It isn't on Netflix.

Spending money to watch it isn't happening either.

Btw, you've got mail.

Speaking of giant spiders, check out the HDTGM podcast for Wild Wild West. Kevin Smith is the guest host, and there's no coincidence that a giant spider shows up in Wild Wild West.

I actually kind of feel bad for Nic Cage. I get the feeling that playing Superman was his lifelong dream, and he was so close.

I think they should cast him as Bizarro in a future Superman movie.

I'm interested in this but I'm not paying $14 plus $8 shipping for the Blu Ray. They need a stream rental option.

The doc is surprisingly sympathetic to what this movie could've been

By the end, they give you the feeling that everyone missed out on the best superman movie ever. Which was odd to me since every thing they said in the thing sounded like the weirdest damn thing I've ever heard

Bump. I watched this last night. Jon Peters comes off as such a giant douche. I'm not a huge fan of all Kevin Smith movies, but he always seems to tell it like it is.

I decided to look up Jon Peters just to see what his deal was. Apparently this dude just leached his arse into Hollywood and strong-armed his way into being a part of some really good movies. Then I read he banged Kim Basinger, Pamela Anderson, Nicollette Sheridan, Sharon Stone, Salma Hayek and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

I've now decided to become a hairdresser in Hollywood. If this total hack could be worth millions and banging the likes of Salma Hayek, there is hope for everyone.

I have no memory of writing this. Nor do I remember how I knew what I said about Jon Peters.

Not a bad idea but apparently Tom Brady is a perfect ringer:
