Guiliver's Travels
IT (indidnt likenit because it shite on the book but I understand im in the minority)
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (such an odd, quirky, dark adaption)
The Creature (omg this was great for a 7 YO)
The Odessey(I've watched this more than any, Armand Asante!)
The Stand (never seen it but knownits popular)

TNT went on a little run in the late 90's with some biblical miniseries that were outstanding.

In particular,

Moses:

and Samson and Delilah:

were solid.

They also had Pirates of Silicon Valley:

which I also enjoyed.

TNT used to make a ton of mini series and movies. They don't do it too much now but they had that gangster mini series with John Bernthal not too long ago.

Peter and Paul, with Anthony Hopkins as Paul, came out in 1981. I saw it as a kid and haven't heard a thing about it since. It was very good.

Merlin was awesome. It came out when I was in 9th grade right at the time when we were studying King Arthur

i'm always a bit bewildered by the career of Sam Niell. Dude starred in an a couple of amazing blockbusters and great miniseries, but has been pretty radio silent except for some bit parts (I don't consider JPIII as a real movie that exists.)

He has over 120 acting credits and he's in a lot of popular movies but not in many theatrical releases.

He's having a resurgence

Hunt for the Wilderpeople
Thor 3
Daybreakers
The Hunter

There are a lot of failed TV series that I think would have flourished as a miniseries.

V (reboot)
Flash Forward
Once Upon A time (I know they get ratings, but the story would've been much better with a 2 season arc instead of the mess they have now)
Heroes
