Massively disappointed in this series. I thought it was going to be inspiring and historically accurate. The scene where Fannin is shot, calling him a wetback and in the country illegally, is ironic

This script must have been a 6th grade fun project done by an elite Connecticut private school class.

And one of the Tx Rangers ending an argument with "just sayin'

I honestly think the accents are the worst thing about this series. When that ranger got the shrapnel in his eye, I thought those two guys were each trying to do their best impression of Disney's Goofy.

Yeah - they sound like they are trying out for a spoof of Nathan Bedford Forrest.

Did anybody expect anything different after Sons of Liberty?

That was hilarious. The accents and the dialogue itself are pretty horrible. With that said, frick Mexico.

This has to be the worst thing History Channel has ever produced. I was very much looking forward to it and now I am hugely disappointed.

Other than making Samuel Adams look like an action hero, it was a pretty decent miniseries.

Blew my mind when I saw him in this. He hasn't really done anything interesting in the series yet, though.

He also made a deal with the devil, killed untold numbers of mummies, had a cartoon monkey best friend, and lived in a bomb shelter for 30 years. What's your point?

I was stating the only thing he has done in this series is make a kid. No reason to be a dick

I was pumped for the show but didn't even give it a shot after reviews started coming in. And the accents are just so bad. Preview told me that. Great actors does not always mean much.

I didn't make it past the first episode. I deleted it from my DVR. Never to be seen again. That was awful.

No, Sons of Liberty was also entertaining and had better accents.
