they should just give the money to whoever jeff wants to win. that fricker controls the vote by baiting those dumbasses into saying stupid shite at tribal to give away their plans.

Jeff seemed a little pissed at that crushing skulls reward challenge when he found out that it was one big sham.

I've never seen Jeff just say "frick it, game over." He gets better and better every season.

I think it is becoming a trend, I have not liked the last few seasons because the remaining people have no redeeming qualities at all. The last few seasons have been terrible at the merge. It is almost unwatchable. Spencer for his genius and Keith for his idiocy have been the only recent contestants that I can watch.

Whoever is casting these has been looking for the next Naonka or Model and it just makes it miserable to watch. The challenges have changed somewhat to favor women (puzzles and balance) as opposed to physical.

I guess society is screwed if this is a true reflection. I wish they would reboot and visit Africa/Australia and go back to no food/water and really surviving. Too many rewards, too many idols.

I hate the idols. I'd actually love a season where the twist is that they get clues, but there really is no idol. The paranoia and fear would run rampant all season long as the clues mount up and no one can find it.

I don't think the casting has been the problem, just that people have seen so many seasons of it, they get on there and vote out the dynamic personalities early so you're left with a bunch of duds for the most part. I think they had some great contestants this season(Josh, Drew, Reed, Jeremy, Jaclyn to name a few) but for the most part they've found themselves against the numbers or blindsided.

I mean we're almost to the final 4 and Missy, Baylor, and Natalie are still around and none of them have really done much to get there. Missy has done decent at the social aspect, and Natalie won an immunity, but none have done much else. But then, other than Jon and Jaclyn, neither has anyone else left in the game, and most of their "good" moves have been by happenstance by finding themselves to be the swing votes.

seriously.

gone are the days where the survivors lost 25-45 lbs during their tenure.

That would be pretty great.

While I agree with some here that a big problem is too many people have watched the show and get rid of the threats early, I also feel like these morons forget too much history as well. It was evident in the reward challenges last night.

I felt like the choice to go to the first reward was very simply for Missy. You take Natalie to get her on your side, and you take Reed to keep him from doing any planning. Also, you certainly leave Baylor behind to be your eyes on camp. It was just so dumb to pick the group she did.

Also, as others have said, these idols are way to easy to find. Now, it's possible it took Jon all day, but it's basically a given that exile = idol. Well, except if it's Alec who may be the worst survivor player to make it this far of all time. I understand it is a different mindset when you are starving, but I'd volunteer for exile at this point in the game every time.

It was a dumb move, but it's Missy so not surprising in the least. She hasn't shown any strategic acumen at all this season.

I just don't understand what these assholes think about all day. It looks like they sleep most of the day, you can spend some time thinking about all your moves. As much as he bugged me early on, I grew to like Tony a lot last year. He was always thinking about the game.

Speaking of not thinking, Jon just blabbers to everyone about his idol. I am enjoying Nat's secret hate for him. I hope she succeeds.

SIAP but why the double episode last night? Are they on a certain schedule to end the season by?

That would be awesome.

They would all be making fake idols too if smart.

I've suggested the do the eliminations like they do on Biggest Loser...play out the immunity challenges all the way to the end. The last 2 (3?, 4?) to complete (or first if it is one of those "hold this up" things) are the ONLY ones that can be voted out.

That way, it is not just one person winning immunity. It is a group that avoids elimination. The stronger players would make it further in the game and the weaklings would be in jeopardy more often

They'll sometimes do a double episode when a "Pagonging" aka predictable series of boots is coming and they just want to advance the game instead of wasting two weeks on the guys getting voted out.

I know it was mentioned before, but I really love it when Jeff calls the competitors on their bullshite. Oh, you're going to stop competing and make a mockery of the game, I'll just end it now and stop wasting everyone's time.

Survivor wouldn't be the juggernaut it is without Jeff as its host. He is masterful at pulling info from them at tribal council and getting the dumb ones to say too much.

I am sure its been said but I just watched the 2nd hour last night, but why the hell did Natalie not vote out that guys girlfriend instead of Alec? If she wanted to make a stand, why she would do it and lose a possible number to help her is beyond me. Now, she is definitely on the low end and will be gone soon.

Final episode before the finale next Wednesday. here is a preview from CBS.

Survivor 29x12 preview "Lets make a move"

spoilers for anyone who doesn't want to watch it

So Natalie tried to play it off like she got the vote mixed up and voted for the wrong one. I can't believe Jon bought it. I think he is definitely going home tonight if he doesn't win immunity. There is no chance he plays his idol tonight, because he is probably more concerned about the next vote coming up at final five.

John needs to go. He is insufferable. I still hope Keith can pull this one out, but whomever wins will be my least favorite winner in a long time.

Hey holy shite, I'm gonna be in San Juan del Sur soon!

Huh. Had no idea that shite was remote enough to be considered for Survivor considering it's a fricking city with a great resort...
