I still don't understand how Cat Grant doesn't recognize who SuperGirl is after getting such a close up look at her.

It's a conceit of the genre. The same reason that no one recognizes Clark Kent or Bruce Wayne for their super-identities.

I really don't care about the storylines. She's adorable and that's enough to keep me watching

How do you know she hasn't? I have a suspicion that she does know that she is Supergirl, and that is why her attitude has changed toward her.

Side note, I always love when writers try to tackle that issue (i.e. Batman using a deep voice, Superman slumps down). It never fails to be horrible. At least Marvel stopped that crap.

What I keep wondering is how she got her ears pierced.

They're going to do away with Spider-Man's Peter Parker identity? Good, that storyline was never interesting.

CBS just picked up Supergirl for a full season.

Hopefully we'll see Barry Allen make an appearance.

Looks like we get Red Tornado tonight. It'll be interesting to see him on tv (live action).

She was a young teen when she left Krypton, so I'd guess that she had them pierced there.

Maybe she had her cousin (as she calls him) pierce them for her.

Just caught up with the last few episodes. This show is coming along nicely and getting very interesting. It's starting to move past the cheesiness and campiness and moving into some very interesting subplots. There's henshaw being shady, Maxwell Lord and his shenanigans, Kara's aunt Astra still being on the loose, and the love interest stuff and yet they have time to fit the villain of the week into the episode each week. Lots of potential. frick the haters of this show.

I'm just constantly amazed at the special effects on this show and how it looks so well done. It gives me hope for the Superman TV show I've been waiting my whole life for and it being well done and looking realistic instead of the obvious props and off camera power use.

Sentries, I'm a huge Superman fan. What Zach Snyder is doing with Man of Steel and hopefully Dawn of Justice is nothing short of amazing in my opinion.

This show however, is absolute crap. It's a rip-off of the Flash.

End of story

Lois and Clark doesn't count as it was more like a soap opera that wasn't even expansive on his rogues gallery.

Smallville was all Clark Kent, didn't fly and didn't even give us a full shot of Superman at the end.

Superboy was bleh.

Stuff made in the silver age just doesn't translate well to todays times.

As if there was any other way to approach this show.

Its show runners are the same guys that run the flash and honestly, the formula is working pretty well for both shows. It's the same approach to the heroes with different characters with different powers, different lifestyles, different environments, and different stories.

Besides, if you're calling it crap and a ripoff of the flash, are you implying the flash is shitty to you as well?
