Netflix is a partner though as they have the rights to international distribution. So it’s basically a team up.

I'm assuming it's not on Netflix here in the USA?

No. Just CBS’s streaming service.

The Technology is not remotely consistent with the timeline...The Holographic Communication was actually first introduced on Deep Space Nine which takes place about 100 after this series...

This is supposed to be 10 years prior to TOS..but Spock would still be on the Enterprise under Captain Pike's command.

This should have been the series that follows Voyager in the timeline.

It is set in the new movie universe from what I understand.

I just caught the end. I'm not sure exactly what they did to the Klingons but I don't think I like it.

Also, I'm not a big fan of prequel type scenarios so if this was pre TOS, the look of the technology, etc sure was different.

There are multiple versions of Klingon on this series. This could be the series that cleans up the discrepancies that occurred between TOS and the films.

I think this is probably pretty close to what the Klingons were always intended to be. They were never supposed to look just like humans like they did in TOS, but makeup and budget and special effects of the times didnt allow them to do much. Things progressed a lot by the time the other series came out, but having Klingons as main or very regular characters didnt allow them to go as all out as they did with other species.

This isn't the series for people that check under their beds for SJWs before turning out the lights. But then, Star Trek never was.

Except this is set 10 years before the original series. Seems unnecessary to introduce yet another version.

Exactly. It's hilarious that people are crying about this now when the original series, in the midst of the civil rights era in the 60s, featured a black woman, a gay Asian, an Irishmen, and a Russian in the midst of the Cold War.

And many of the episodes featured what a lot of people would cry about as having SJW themes/ lessons/ morals.

Weve also already seen a female captain and a female first odficer. And Janeway and T'Pol were both good characters.

I just dont understand why people want to cry about it now.

My DVR cut off the final 15-20 minutes. Freakin' 60 minutes.

Didn't see enough to actually pay for it.

This may have happened to a lot of people.

He was very effeminate. The audience of the 60s was very naive, but Sulu was at least bi,and experimenting off screen. No,doubt
