Well that finale was kind of a downer, for pretty much everybody. At least there was some high quality nudity.
-Debbie is the worst. Just bad.
-Carl and Chuckie should have a juvie spinoff show
-No way Ian and Mickey stay broken up for long next season, fans would threaten to burn down the network
-I half expected the final shot of the episode to be Sheila in her RV driving out to Arizona to meet Karen
-I didn't hate Frank as much this season, he's growing on me.

I actually felt bad for Frank at the end of the episode. The finale was meh.....

She was a doctor treating Frank's gunshot wound. She was about to bandage him up when she freaked out and ran out of the ER. Frank chased after her and she told him she just learned she has cancer and does not have long to live.
They went and got drunk and Bianca decided she wanted Frank to show her all the crazy shite she missed out on in life before she dies.

I've been a fan of this show since the first season and there has always been a couple weak story lines, but this season had a couple too many. The Kev at the college thing, stupid fricking Debby, and even the Frank with hot arse doctor were all too ridiculous. Since we got to see her naked I can forgive that one 
and Frank was actually likable for a couple episodes.
Lip is the character I want to see the most outside of Emily's tits, but he's such a moron too. That teacher is hot as shite, but he should still be working the hot, smart, rich, freak out as well. Amanda is marriage material.

I think this was the best written season so far. A lot less unbelievable story lines than previous seasons. Most of that may be because Cusak was not around. Her story lines always got way out there. I can handle the Frank story because she had nothing to lose and he was about the only guy who would support his life style. Debs has always been my least favorite character, she got better this season but got real annoying in the final episode. Lip is becoming the leader of the family and a character I want to see more of. Carl is very entertaining hope he gets out soon because it was lame not seeing him much the final few episodes. Really enjoyed this season and look forward to the next. Also it is rare to enjoy a show this much past season 4. So glad to see it not take the big drop off many shows takes this late into a series.

Fiona's shtick has gotten old. We are going on 5 seasons of the same shite with her over and over, there is just no payoff with her character.
Debbie is just the worst, I really don't know how else to put it. If we have to go through a season of her dealing with teenage pregnancy I AM DONE.
This show fell off this season for me (really it fell off a couple seasons ago), not enough interesting story lines, very little redeeming moments, Mickie/Frank were the only ones that seemed to give us anything good.

The only character I remotely like on this show is Kevin. He's a good natured dumb guy who, despite his obvious shortcomings, demonstrates actual redeeming values most of the time.

ill take the lip story line(actual evolution, possible?!?! crazy.), and kevin is amusing in all the ways this show was meant to be. i agree with the person that said theres no payoff with fionas character -- at some point there needs to be a next step with her instead of the constant one forward, one back. shes stalled out. frank was so-so this season. i liked humanizing him but wouldve preferred something a tiny bit more realistic.
6 pages for the whole season says it all - theres nothing interesting or new to talk about.

I've watched since day one and the show has gotten too predictable. Same pig...different lipstick.

i will say that i laughed my arse off at frank's bender. that redeemed frank. using him as a tool for the dying doctor was nice, too.

from what the season preview showed, apparently fiona is a borderline psychopath and they're just re-doing last season's story but with a slightly less dramatic set of results from her new psychopathy

I just finished 6 last night. I thought they were both just as good as other seasons. I watched them for free online though.
