Henry bothered me, mainly the part where they are raping the mother in front of her husband and kid if I remember correctly.

i would have to agree with halloween. the sister in pet cemetery was freaky as hell. but the movie that always gets me is arachnophobia. i can't stand fricking spiders.

I completely understand why some people hated Blair Witch but there is something about being lost in the wilderness with people screwing with you in the dark that spooks me good.

The Strangers:
when the guy's face/mask just silently appeared out of the dark, I screamed so loud I made my cat jump from her perch and run under the bed

IT scared the shite out of me as a 10 year old. It took me a few years before I could go by sewer drains.

love the Paranormal Activity Series.

The Slasher genre doesn't do much for me, but the paranormal, unknown, unexplained, dark side stuff gets me.

The Strangers is a terrifying move that doesn't rely on typical horror film cheap tricks (such as the dreaded random loud noise when something unexpectedly scary happens).

Along with that, of all the horror movies I've seen that are ficition, this one could happen anytime anywhere. Very believable.
