Wife and kids are out of town. Got home from work and sat down in front of the tv for the first time in a long time. Scar Face is on. I mean I've known it sucked since I was done with puberty, but holy shite. This movie is a dumpster fire. A dumpster fire that I will watch through the end.

I listen to a lot of Raw Dog and I think I know Mulany. He's kind of a dork and had a show for a week or so? But he is funny. I'm not familiar with his bit on this awful fricking film. I'm guessing he talks about the tiger and the terrible montage? If so, Its been done before him.

I watch Scarface now and it reminds me of watching Clash of the Titans 30 years after it came out. Just holy shite.
Of course that also makes it a time capsul of its time and place, which can be appreciated in a way.

I never thought Scarface was that great but a "dumpster fire"? Come on, man. Not De Palma's best movie but it's over the top acting, violence, and style make it a classic. And of course another legendary acting job from Pacino.

I've never really understood why so many people think of it as one of the greats. Pacino is laughable in it.
