Damn that was good on the big screen. So fast-paced you dont' realize two hours have passed when you look at your watch.

The poor mother. She had a sweet daughter The tragedy of how Tony ruined that family.

I will probably get downvoted for this.

It is a terrible movie. Yet, I always watch it. His accent is awful.

I like Al Pacino and Brian DePalma but I've never liked Oliver Stone either as a screenwriter or director. Outside of some catchy dialogue, I thought the script for the movie was terrible. Pacino and DePalma try their best to elevate the script but it just wasn't a very good movie.

I'm so damn old I saw it in the theatre in Mandeville upon release in 1983. Some Saints players were in there hiding their eyes at the chainsaw scene.

The duality of Tony was so well done by Pacino.
And the comedic moments are very underrated, overshadowed by the darkness of the story.

This scene is pretty vanilla now but that and the robocop robot obliterating the executive still haunt me

It's a high-end B-movie that (let's face it) gets boring once he gets rich and is the paranoid kingpin.

As a IDGAF 80s movie , I wouldn't have been surprised if Ninjas showed up in the third act to take him out.

It’s a terrible film I suppose

But it’s infinitely rewatchable

How is it terrible?

Like I can understand someone saying it’s overrated or isn’t a masterpiece like some say but calling it terrible is straight up wrong, objectively.
