Would've been pretty badass to see this Batman looking up at Superman instead of the cartoonish looking Frank Miller version.
I disagree. I like the "cartoony" Frank Miller look.

We need to distance ourselves from Nolan's Batman universe anyway.

Nah, I'm tired of those rubber looking suits. At least the Miller knockoff was something different. The other bat suit that they've been showing is best thing that they're taking from TDKR. Not a fan of the fat, earless chest logo, but the suit looks more normal that the usual scuba bat suit.
Agreed, although the fat bat symbol doesn't really bother me.

I like the shorter ears. They make more sense than having 6 inch protrusions on the top of his head.

How is being an actor fierce and fearless?

I can see how being Gemma could be mentally and emotionally taxing to Katey Sagal. I've heard her talk about it on a podcast before.

I would say it's brave of her to go so far outside of her comfort zone for a role.

I don't know about the fierce part though.

It looks like Bruce Wayne is doing exactly what Tony Stark would do.

I was referring to the ears on the chest emblem. I like the short ears on Batman as a change from the movie norm.

The symbol looks less like a bat with the short ears, especially on the bat signal we saw.

Not really saying that I wanted Nolan's Batman to be the one standing there... (Although it would've been pretty cool). I just don't like this kind of profile for Batman:

I'd rather it be closer to this:

That first pic isn't the suit he'll be wearing all the time. You know that, right? That's just his Supermanbuster armor.

His actual outfit seems to be pretty close to what you posted. Just shorter ears and a fatter bat symbol on his chest. It is more of a classic Batman look, rather than the high tech body armor look of Nolan's.

Plus, it looks like this Batman will have no problem turning his head.

And Affleck is fricking ripped.

I like the nod to the classic, but a sleeker suit would've been cool too. There would've been complaints either way.

I thought they did a good job giving the Supermanbuster armor an update.

Eventually we'll get a sleek, ninja batman who has moves like the current movie Spider-Man and Black Widow, and isn't as stiff in battle. The guy drawn by Aparo and Adams and Garcia-Lopez.

Something to look forward to.

I have a feeling that is what we'll get in this movie.

I know, just saying that the first time we see them on screen, it would've been cool to see Batman without all the armor.

Not going to flip out like others do, just sort stating how I would've like to have seen it. Just not a fan of the really short ears and fat Bat logo.

I want to see him the suit as well, but you gotta admit, the world wanted to see The Dark Knight Returns face-off between Supes and armored Bats. It's one of the most iconic fights in comic history.

The teaser did a great job of that.

I want to see more too. All of this has gotten me pretty excited for the movie.

I don't even expect that scene to be in the movie. Teasers tend to just be cool shots they decide to do for publicity.

To the stereotypically written female character in a TV show. The dingy damsel in distress or the housewife everyone hates.

I'm not a bra burning feminist or anything but the ladies on GoT are a good example of strong female characters. It is a change from what you typically see, but fantasy/sci-fy has always been pretty good at reinforcing stronger female characters then what is normally on screen/on the page.

I think the armor is a cool idea, but couldn't superman still just deck him in the face and shatter his jaw?
