I'll take 12 Angry Men over Room all day

Did not like Room. It's not something I'd care to watch again. I would watch 12 Angry Men again. Room didn't really go any where or leave you satisfied with the ending. And it has nothing to do with just being in a limited setting.

Best movie for me. Outstanding job by Larson though I'm not totally sure she was the best actor in it.

No...the kid was the best actor in Room.

How Tommy Wisseau wasn't nominated is beyond me.

Mrs. Banana and I watched "Room" last night and we loved it. I'm a father and I couldn't help but think of my little girl while I was watching this. That little dude knocked it out of the park.

Fast & furious 12 is that way (points over the edge of cliff).

Bump cause I just saw it.

You're a fricking moron. I would use the word "obtuse" but you're not deserving of it.

Holy shite, this movie was an emotional chore. I honestly felt exhausted after watching it. I didn't know anything about it before watching and I think that's the only way to watch it.

But yeah what an incredibly tense movie. I think my favorite part was that you didn't see anything that the kid didn't see. When it came to the aftermath, we only saw what he saw and it kinda made everything important to the audience what was important to him.

Incredibly powerful movie but holy shite I'll never watch it again. Glad I did though, damn good movie.

Only thing I wish had been covered more was William H Macy's character. We kind of see him, and then he disappears without a conclusion to his story.

This kinda nagged me too at first but then I realized that Jack never saw or thought about him again. So if we're seeing everything from his perspective, it's not important.

Another pseudo example, with HUGE SPOILERS:

After the kid escapes, Mrs P and I both figured that Old Nick killed the mom. It was a reasonable assumption from the information we had from Jack's perspective. So it was a pretty emotional moment when she comes screaming to the cup car, just like it was for Jack. Just a brilliant movie.

I was thoroughly underwhelmed.

People are sheep and would laud a 3 hour looped gif of poop exiting and anus if the internet told them it was acclaimed.

She was also in The United States of Tara. It was on Showtime. That's where I knew her from.

I thought it was a great movie. It wasn't perfect but the acting by Larson and Tremblay was worth every minute. Tremblay not being nominated for an Oscar is the biggest snub in recent history.
