Batman. R-rated and framed as a horror movie.

Also while it's far too late now to do it, I would have liked to see a sequel to the Truman Show which would follow Truman adapting to the actual world and perhaps trying to stop a reboot of the Truman Show using another adopted kid. Could be interesting, especially if you gave Marlon an expanded role. It would have to take place exactly where the last one left off though, so I don't see how they could do it.
Call it the Truman Life.

Remakes:
The Running Man - A bit more horror to it. (I do love the original though)
Prince of Darkness - Carpenter evolved quite a bit, I think, while great, this is the weakest of the Apocalypse set
Night of the Comet - Such a great B-movie, but there's good stuff there for a remake.
American Gothic - I wouldn't trust most filmmakers, but with the right person behind the camera this could be cool

I'd watch a Gone in 60 Seconds prequel

Doc travels to the present day to see Marty (who is dying of cancer) and meet Marty Jr. Marty on his death bed tells Marty Jr about his time travel adventures. Marty Jr., decides to find out why flying cars never came about, he tries to piece together what could have happened between 1985
And today to stop that future from occuring. He realizes a similarity in the stories of Biff Tannen in alternate 1985 and the current president. So he somehow finds enough components to make his own time machine and uses it to travel to the past only to discover that there was a page of the sports almanac that was not destroyed and ended up in the hands of a young Donald Trump. Marty Jr. destroys the page and then travels back to the present, but when he goes back, the world is different in many worse ways than just a lack of flying cars. He realizes that he must go back and ensure Trump gets the missing page, only to realize that he was the one who did it in the first place.
When he comes back the second time, it's planet of the Apes, setting up the sequal.

I'd like to see some Westerns remade. 3:10 to Yuma and True Grit both went pretty well and I think there's some potential in that with the right casts. Lonesome Dove is one that comes to mind but it'd really have to be the perfect cast/perfect director or people would probably riot. Unforgiven is another.
One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest
The Outsiders. Kids still read and love/relate to this book.

I'll be shocked if this one isn't remade sometime soon.

Running Man is a great idea. With cable networks trying to up the game on reality TV and our increasing love of violence along with major cities going to shite... could work well.

I think a How the west was won remake with a great ensemble cast could be interesting.
I love westerns, and the genre is almost dead so it couldn't hurt

Domolition Man starring the Rock
EDIT: Smokey and the Bandit, with The Rock as Smokey and Robert Downey Jr. as The Bandit. Seth Rogan is the smokey's deputy, zach gallifanakis drives the truck, and :insert hot chick here: plays the love interest
Rocky vs the Russian with The Rock as Rocky and michael cera as Ivan Drago
James Bond starring the guy who played Michael Weston as bond with Daniel Craig, Pierce Brosnan, and Sean Connery all playing a group of former bonds turned villains. Somehow, the movie would tie all of the bond movies together as well as The Rock, and the tv shows Burn Notice and Remington Steele.
Space Balls 3: The Search for Space Balls 2: The Search for More Money
Live action Dragon Ball Z written and directed by Team Four Star
Sequal to Kung Pow: Enter the Fist

I like this idea. There ahould be cameos by Martin Lawrence (the black knight), John Cleese, and the cast of Hot Tub time Machine (Lou uses his knowledge of the future to be Merlin) as well.
