I'll be shocked if this one isn't remade sometime soon.
It's such a horrible idea that you are probably right.

I would also like to see an Ender's Game that doesn't suck.
More to the point, the nature of the story is such that it just doesn't translate well to film. Done faithfully, it wouldn't be a big CGI film, despite being sci-fi. Most of it would be a little hard to watch; children in boot camp, playing war-game simulations.
You shouldn't get any special effects, or anything else to tip the viewer off ... so it would have to be drab and boring, right up until the end, where they come out and congratulate him for killing every last member of the opposing species.

Flash Gordon
John Carter was a fun film, but not at all in the "manly men and insanely gorgeous women" vein of the original stories. Tarzan has similarly been watered down and made correct. Also I don't think Conan gets to wench like he was originally written.
I don't want a millenial/SJW version of what was, at it's heart, pulp male fantasy. I prefer the original versions, no matter how politically incorrect they are now.

Odd thought regarding Ender's Game, which might work better on film-
change a lot of the social interactions, and a good bit of Ender's personality. Film it along the lines of Dead Poets' Society, same quirky intellectualism and isolation from the outside world. Portray Ender the way that film did the guy who played Puck and killed himself at the end; just a quiet kid who has natural aptitude with the "game". His winning battles would just be his escape from the stress he's under.
It would feel different than the book, but the big reveal at the end would hit home much better than the movie did.

Brad Dourif needs another Chucky sequel
Same for Robert England as Freddy
Daniel Day-Lewis should play Dracula in this mummy shared universe that is coming up

Harrison ford has one more Indiana jones in him, we can't let Indy end on the kingdom of the crystal skull.

He didn't. He ended in 1990 with The Last Crusade. Don't try and convince me otherwise.

I believe there is one in production now.

If you're going to look at the superhero genre (and it is a giant moneymaker), then Green Lantern is the obvious choice.
Major character, great dynamics with the villains (Sinestro and Star Sapphire), has the space fantasy element to explore.
The first attempt was terrible, but if done right, it could be very, very memorable and entertaining.
Problems vs the current DC films- it would have to be colorful, much more like GOTG and Thor, instead of the 'shades of gray' that DC is building. And you'd have to move the settings out into space, to eliminate the "where were the other heroes" element... but that could easily be done.
The GL Corps could be one of the safeguards protecting Earth from Darkseid, and Sinestro's revolt could preoccupy them, and open things up for Darkseid.
Hal Jordan could discover the power that fuels Star Sapphire, and Carol Ferris could try to use it to join Hal as an ally against Darkseid since the Lantern Corps is busy... but that power combined with her emotions turns her into the loose cannon that Sapphire is, instead. As likely to try to kill GL as to help him.

Some of the Disney movies for kids from several generations ago (The Gnomemobile, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, etc) might be fun for today's kids. They could probably use some freshening up.

Meh. It'd be solid with the right cast/right director.

Stealing your idea a little but I'd love to see a Bram Stoker's Dracula remake with DDL and absolutely no CGI
