Tier 1:
1) Prestige
2) Memento

Tier 2:
3) Inception

Tier 3:
4) Insomnia
5) Batman Begins
6) Interstellar
7) Dark Knight

Tier 4:
8) Dark Knight Rises

Haven't seen Following.

Obviously I like Insomnia more than most and Interstellar less than most. Insomnia was a great modern film noir, which there isn't enough of these days. I didn't like Interstellar's time travel element, and didn't like Nolan's choice to purposefully make it difficult to hear in quite a few parts. It would still probably sneak into my top 100 of all time, which is a testament to how good Nolan is. Prestige is in my top 4 with Big Lebowski, Once Upon a Time in the West, and Children of Men.

Insomnia was the first Nolan movie I watched and I haven't seen it since around the time it was released on DVD. I actually thought it was pretty good, but it's a movie I should probably rewatch since it's been nearly 15 years since I've seen it.

this thread is proof of what I predicted years ago. History will look at Batman Begins as the best of the Batman trilogy.

Third act of the Dark Knight after the Joker was captured was absolutely retarded.

No. That is an internet comic book fanboy trend, at best.

The Dark Knight is still widely considered to be the greatest comic book/superhero movie ever, and it's still the movie everyone new good one is compared against.

You're referring to like the last 12 minutes with Dent? I wouldn't consider that and entire third act

Pretty sure he's talking about the Joker letting himself be intentionally caught with an escape plan. I know TDK wasn't the first movie to do this, but a helluva lot more action movie villains started using this plot device (Skyfall, Star Trek Into Darkness, among others).

I don't agree that the 3rd act was "absolutely retarded" but I can see why people didn't care for the rush of Two-Face's character. I just enjoy the movie for what it is and never felt the need to nitpick that kind of flaw.

Whatever his next movie is, that is his best. In this case, Dunkirk.

I'm talking about everything that happened after the line "some men just want the world to burn"

Up until that line ---> masterpiece
After that line ---> full retard
