I just got notification they are shutting down Vue 1/30/2020. That sucks.
What streaming service do you use? Pros and cons?

I use Hulu Live and have been happy with it.
depending on area you get some local channels with it which helps with SEC football games, all of the ESPN's and Fox Sports affiliates.

Hulu Live. Get all the sports networks I want and most of the cable stations I watch. It is specific to each area. But you can see what's available in yours.

Youtube TV. All the sports channels and everything else you could want. Three streams at once and $50 a month. Great interface as well which is big for me.

Can you watch Pels games with Hulu Live? Want to cut ties with DirecTV but want to ensure I can still watch Pels/Saints games.

I started checking out new ones once PSVue started messing up for me a few months ago. I had Hulu for a while because YouTube was added to FireTV. Hulu is fine. I had no problems with it, but there is something I just like better about YouTube. They have a cool function for sports that shows key plays if you are joining a game after it has started. So, your options are start from beginning, start from live, or catch up to live watching key plays. It doesn't work for all games, but I thought it was pretty cool.
I don't think you can go wrong with either, and they both have a similar price. Although, Hulu only has 2 simultaneous streams at the basic plan, and YouTube has 6.

If you live in Louisiana, I would assume you can since it has local Fox Sports. I live in Houston and get Fox Sports Southwest. As for the Saints, Hulu has Fox, CBS, and ESPN. So, that covers everything but Thursday Night Football. I don't think it has NFL Network, but I can't remember the last game that was only on NFLN. Most have a local broadcast for Saints games and Amazon usually streams them.

YouTube TV. All your sports channels and even FS Nola in that area for the Pelicans.

Hulu Live. I had Sling for a couple of months. Hulu is much better.

youtube tv.
Tt's got live cable, streaming, unlimited recording of live tv, and you can get up to 6 people on one account, each with a separate login for $55/ month.
Some friends and I do it and we each pay $9.16/month. It's unbeatable.
Also comes with NBA TV if you're into that.

I like sling alot.
During football season I add the sports package for an extra 5 bones, then afterwards I get rid of it. Easy peasy.
Oh and for the basic which is what I have. It's pretty cheap.

We just cut the cord recently and I LOVE Hulu Live. My area gets every single local channel. Between Hulu and Amazon (for Thursday games), I don't miss a game.

Hulu or Youtube TV are the best IMO

I use Hulu live and like it. With streaming services, you have to drill down to see what has the channels you require AND the features you prefer.
I would start looking with Hulu and Youtube, ATM they seem to have the most devotees.

I use Hulu live. I tried YouTube, but hate that their DVR function is just basically an on demand service that doesn’t let you fast forward through commercials for some shows.
Hulu’s dvr definitely has its quirks too, but it still records like a traditional dvr and lets me skip through commercials. Plus it has all my local channels, and I think YouTube tv was missing one.

quote:Yeah, I remember it being like that too when I tried it last year. I decided to give it another shot and its not like that anymore. Everything I've recorded so far actually records like a DVR. And the DVR is unlimited.

Youtube is slightly more expensive however. I think 5 dollars more.
Another good thing about YoutubeTV, Adblock stops on demand ads on youtube. Not Hulu. At least if you watch on a browser.
