what valuable information did we acquire from this situation?" is an amazing quote that i need to start using

That is great

It is also amazing what a complete screw-up Prez is and how he is rehabilitated later in the season and more so later in series.

i feel bad for daniels with his count of a wife already showing her colors

she kinda has a point, but i don't feel too bad since it works out for him pretty well in season 3

He's one of my favorite minor characters. He provides so much comedic relief.

I forgot how Lester was viewed early on... a worthless evidence room police woodcarver. ETA: Not evidence room, pawn shop squad

while also having random moments showing he's really good at his job (except for that big mistake in season 2)

I'm in the same boat because the pace of 2 a week is just too slow for me. I'm definitely gaining more interest.

I'm re-watching too, but have moved way past the assigned 2 episodes. It's too good

I lost it this time around when Freeman responds with "Pawn Shop Unit" when the detectives ask him what unit he's in after he makes a great find. It was way more hilarious this time around for some reason.

On a semi-related note, Clarke Peters voices the character "Popeye" on Archer.

Some Archer fans call him "evil" Lester.

I tried to start it too late last night and fell asleep before the first episode ended. Something that i was reminded of from the first time i tried to watch it though...for some reason i really dislike the woman cop, Greggs, and im not quite sure why

Good bit of foreshadowing of things to come that I didn't pick up first time.

Shows and movies made pre cell phones just looks odd now. Even thought grew up without them.

One thing I've realized is that no I'm around episode 8 there is no way I can keep straight what happened in the past based on episode #. There is just too much stuff going on all at once. As an example I couldn't tell you which episode it was that Wallace was getting all the kids ready for school.

I'm glad the interest in the show is strong. That should bode well for this thread.

Although try not to get ahead of the discussion. Discussion for E1&2 officially starts on Monday.

I think my first watch was 2 to 3 years ago - I do remember building up some momentum - I was watching 2 or 3 at a time, easily - I think I got through the first season over a weekend.

Of all the shows in this broad category, it is probably Mrs. Midnight's favorite.

This isn't even my first watch...

I think I am so into it because I am seeing a lot of stuff I didn't the first time around. They don't hold your hand at all when it comes to explaining what is going on and I really appreciate that the second time around.

Worth it for Freamon and Bunk questioning the crew and,

Did he have hands? A face? Yes? Then it wasn't us.

(I hope that isn't spoilerish.)

...alone.

But, I've enjoyed Season 2 better and better since the first watch.

Oh - and Deidre Lovejoy (Pearlman) -

Nice body, but not naturally pretty by any stretch - ~40 when the show started and is a classic example of how smarts and attitude can make a gal seem sexier than she ought to.
