As a fan of the old TV show, we merely adopted the “Power Rangers.” Cranston was born in it, molded by it. (The Blue Ranger is named for him, after all.) So if Zordon is saying this is a “Dark Knight” -like change, there’s only one response:

I'm not big on the suits either, but what will be important for me is that they don't frick with important elements of the story and that it has good action sequences. Those are the only two things I care about with this movie. I wanna see Powere Rangers kicking arse again.
