I was surprised this movie got a PG13 rating. That's pretty ballsy for a Power Rangers film.

That said, I'm really not sure what was in the movie to warrant that rating.

There was a lot of cursing in the movie surprisingly.

The first scene was about jacking off a bull

This movie will have plenty of staying power at the box office. The audience reviews and word of mouth will make it have another strong showing.

Also, they havent even tapped some of the bigger foreign markets yet. It'll have a really strong finish which will ensure it'll be at least a trilogy.

It was dumb to release it in the wake of Beauty and the Beast. There really isn't anything exciting coming out until May and they could have released it during that down time. I see it getting a sequel then struggle to get a third like the recent Ninja Turtles movies.

That's not a terrible comparison. However, I think you are overlooking the audience's reception to each film. Power Rangers is scoring extremely high with audiences, especially the 18-30yr old range. Neither of the Ninja Turtles scored well critically or more importantly, with audiences. No one cared for those films.

I really hope the new ninja turtle movies didn't permanently kill the chance for a good one to be made in my lifetime.

Just got out, thought it was solid.

All the Rangers were well acted as well as Alpha and Zordon. I wasn't a big fan of Banks as Rita. Just thought she was meh. I also thought the Go Go Power Rangers after they get into the Zords was cringe worthy.

Wish we could have gotten more time of them kicking arse outside the Zords. Other than that it was solid.

Really excited for the Green Ranger.

There will be another Turtles movie. May just not be for another 10 years. If they made another movie after that crappy cartoon one in 2007, they will definitely make another. The 2015 movie wasn't that bad honestly. Much better than the first. The problem is many didn't give it a chance because of the previous film.

I loved Secret of the Ooze as a kid. Tried watching it in the past couple of years and it was so cringeworthy. I read something about how the fighting had been toned down, and I paid attention to that and could definitely tell a difference. III was garbage but I remember liking it as a kid as well. The 2 latest TMNT movies were much much better than those 2 movies and I'd like to see them continue on with these characters/villains from the cartoon series.

Nope, no word. It'll be close.. still have Japan left, but toy sales have been insane and it's reported that will save it and give us a sequel.
