But WTF is this? I thought Peter Parker was a nerd. Not some hipster skateboarding weirdo.

Everybody was all upset about emo Spiderman in Spiderman 3 so I guess they wanted to go a different route.

Apparently. Regular kid wasn't acceptable. Skinny jeans were a must.

Meh. It sort if makes sense.

What bothered me most was that Peter was a dick throughout the entire movie.

Exactly. That was more of a problem.

That was my beef as well.

Movie was ok-good but the way his character was designed was way off base

I see no problem with that. That's how kids dress now, especially in places like NYC.

It cracks me up when people hate on somebody wearing skinny jeans. %50 of celebrities wear them it shouldn't be that surprising. It doesn't exclude him from being a normal kid because he doesn't wear the kind of blue jeans you like.

I don't know who was a better Parker. I don't care. Parker is not that interesting and I go to those movies to see SpiderMan. An for that I like the Tobey movies better. Or at least the first two. Third sucked.

I liked the new cast. Just watched it. Far far better than that douche Tobey McGuire. Spiderman 3 remains in my top two of all-time worst movies. Just a disaster.
