Quit trying to defend yourself and admit that you like movies that are hot garbage.

Funny.... I love Dickens and Shakespeare. I love Dostoyevsky, Nietzche and Voltaire. I love Fargo, Sunset Boulevard, A Man for All Seasons, and Dark City. I know that "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" was better as a book and that Jaws was better as a movie. I have good taste and am difficult to please.

Noah pleased me because it's a good movie. Unlike yourself, I don't have to hop on or off some bandwagon to feel comfortable with my choices. Noah is unfairly panned because it's not what people expected or wanted from something with that title... it's as simple as that.

What's really funny is the parade of people here calling it a bad movie without anyone offering some reason why.

It sounds like you're speaking in absolutes. Are there Christians out there that were offended by the movie? Sure. But why do you have to stereotype everyone who doesn't like the movie?

People don't connect with the characters. They're dull. They don't have a lot of life other than Crowe. People didn't like the story and didn't connect with it. The rock monsters didn't fit. Why is this not enough for you? Why do you have to throw everyone in the "it wasn't what you expect so you hate it" category? We are telling you reasons why we didn't like it, but you aren't listening.

It's rated low for religious reasons, obviously.
Have you seen how many people here and everywhere that are not religious at all? Cannot be the explanation. I hope to see it, but my expectations are very, very low.

Noah was one of the worst movies I have ever seen.

The rock giants were absurd and made it more of a science fiction movie. The story was weak and only became compelling when the crisis of his daughter giving birth and the dilemma of killing the infants. That lasted for a whole 20 minutes of the movie. The rest of the 2 hours was unwatchable, and I am a Russell Crowe fan.

My negative comments have nothing to do with religion or the biblical story of Noah and how this movie reflected that. My observation is 100% based on if I liked the movie for what it was. My opinion - one of the worst movies I have ever seen.
