Really? What about talking snakes? Would that have been weird? Or how about sticks turning into snakes? How about that? Or how about people 30 feet tall?
Yep, still looked way out of place and awful.

It didn't fit the second half of the movie at all.

???? They performed their duty that allowed Noah's family to get on the boat.

It looked like shite on screen.

As I've said, I actually thought them better-rendered and more appropriately incorporated into the story than those awful sharp-edged ill-designed robots in Interstellar.

Then stay away from the Bible, Lord of the Rings, and Game of Thrones, I guess.

Cause Noah is in the same league.

This is where creatures like that fit in.

Love Lord of the Rings. The characters put on screen in Lord of the Rings are may more interesting and compelling to me. Like I said, I enjoyed the second half of Noah. I like the concept of faith and how far someone will go, but throwing Lord of the Rings in with this is kind of like putting Star Wars in with Dune.

I get it... you don't like the Bible infected with rock monsters even though it has giants and talking snakes... because unlike Lord of the Rings it's not fantasy.

I did read your post. Either my explanation is correct or your like for one and distaste for the other is completely arbitrary. I guess it's your right to be arbitrary, but I was hoping for more substantive argumentation.

I completely get what you're saying. If we like Star Wars, we must like all sci fi movies set in space. Gotcha.

It's rated low for religious reasons, obviously. People went in expecting some account glorifying the Bible and got something different. Unfair to call it "Noah" is one repeated criticism I see.

Or the fact that the movie is hot garbage. I'm embarrassed for you that you liked and are defending it.

It's a shite movie. Wouldn't help if you called it Zorgon and placed it on another planet, it's still a shite movie.

Hide behind "the Christians don't understand" all that you want, it's still a shite movie.

Not just my opinion, literally everyone's opinion. Quit trying to defend yourself and admit that you like movies that are hot garbage. We won't judge you for that.

What's really funny is the parade of people here calling it a bad movie without anyone offering some reason why.

I can't fault the story. I can't fault the acting. I can't fault the cinematography. I can't fault the direction. I can't fault the CGI. And apparently you can't either or you probably would have done so.

My favorite part of the movie, by the way, was Noah's telling of the creation story... the imagery in that snippet was astounding. Much of the production was beautiful.

Wrong. Of the people who bothered to write reviews on IMDB many are glowing, which tells me that its low average score is from offended people who can't form any bit of coherent criticism.
