would like to point out that they have yet to show an extended scene...and with reason. The third act was entirely reshot to make it more generic.
Don't waste your money this, and one day the rights will revert to Marvel and you can enjoy a proper F4 film.

This trailer is fine in a somewhat generic sense, and there are a number of razzle-dazzle money shots in the final action montage. I was pretty excited about the project after the first horror-tinged teaser back in January, if only because it looked a little scary and because it really did seem like something a little different.

This movie is going to be bad. If this was the trailer they worked on to make a splash with it comic-con the movie has no chance. There is not one thing that looks even remotely interesting. Heck even the lines from the script were lame and cheesy.
I am not even sure I will waste a free redbox rental on this.

If you never knew who the Fantastic 4 were, could you honestly tell me this was supposed to be a superhero movie? I just don't understand what they're trying to do with this.

Seriously, he's the obvious choice to blackwash. Doing that with one of the Storms and not the other is simply bullshite. They just know the Human Torch is on fire, but Sue Storm is supposed to be a hot blonde chick, so they just butcher the characters to put a black guy in. Black Reed Richards doesn't make a slight impact on the story, but I bet they delve for at least 2 minutes on why they are siblings instead of just hiring 2 people of the same race to play the characters. This film I'm betting will be the worst superhero film of the decade.

Long story short-this was a rights grab by Fox or the IP would revert back to Marvel. It's a hard property to grasp, so Fox hired a director who did his first movie on the cheap. They reimagined it, making this a prequel of sorts (Director's words), made Doom a blogger. Filmed down here, mutliple people heard it was disaster of a production-director was high and trashed a house. Massive reshoots of third act(as you can see in the trailer poor Mara had to put a wig on in the reshoots).
If this movie bombs, the F4 will likely return to Marvel and under the Marvel Studios banner (MCU).
A more likely place where they can capture the F4 correctly...like Pixar did with The Incredibles.
