This isn't a big deal, it's a show than can easily be wrapped up this season anyway.

This. I would have been pissed if they cancelled next season, but this is a show that can definitely be wrapped in 3 seasons. Hell, I was impressed that they were able to make a second season that lived up to expectations. To drag it out would detract from it. One of the most intense series I've watched.

Loved season 1 and had to quit season 2 after 3 episodes because Kevin was pissing me off so much.

The whole family would be fine if he was just chained to the floor in a basement somewhere for a year while the other two siblings fix everything.

I need to take a xanax and finish it up though. I think its well made.

Agree. Nothing wrong with that. The length constraint may even work in the writers' favor.

And I think at this point, people have to legitimately consider quality over quantity. These shows still have budgets and lets face it, as a viewing public we demand quality without much regard to the financial cost. Especially for a platform that is getting into trying to make multiple original shows for cheaper than what their cable counterparts rakes in.

I don't know that I ever saw Bloodline as a lengthy show.

Stopped watching after episode 2 of season 2

then you're missing out big time.

How did you liek season 1? If you were lukewarm on it, then hey I understand. Different strokes and all. But if you enjoyed season 1 (which I assume you kinda sorta did since you watched it all) I don't see how you could stop after S2E2.

Season 1 was great. Fell asleep 3 weeks ago halfway into episode 3 of S2. Haven't looked back. Started stranger things last night. I keep getting spooked watching it in the dark by myself

I just found out about this, and it sounds good to me. The writers have a whole season to wrap it up and give it a satisfying end. At the end of the first season I thought the story arc should wrap up in a total of two seasons anyway. I thought the end of the 2nd season kinda jumped the shark, so closing out the story is a good thing.

I like the British model where shows are intended to have a limited run from the beginning. That way the shows don't get stale and the business people/showrunners don't try to milk them dry.
