I'm just glad they've upgraded the quality of women to look at.

That Julie chick who with with the guy who looked like one of those geico cavemen was hard to watch.

Honora also seems crazy and vindictive enough to make all of that up.

Just now watching the last episode....so you catch a turtle, and build a trap to hold it while you get water. The camera shows the turtle lying on it's back so it won't move while you make the trap. First off, why do you need a trap? You can just leave the thing on it's back. Secondly, if you make the trap, why not leave it on it's back?

He'a done. He looks like a crazy person, and everyone smells the desperation on him. Too bad, because his two teammates are bitches.

BTW, does this show make anyone instantly suspicious of all women?

Note the two women are living in the shelter he built. He should have disassembled it and took it with him.

What are the odds that the two guys let Shane join their group?

I don't either, but there's a good bit of stuff on reddit from other cast members as well.
I thought this show was great until i started reading more and more about what they've been saying. Seems more and more staged and "reality" tv than i previously thought.

Am I the only one hoping Shane either joins the other 2 guys or makes it the whole damn 40 solo?

Those bitches literally lived off of him for the first 20 days. The vegan hasn't done a damn thing the entire show. And I really hope the ginger gets eaten by an Anaconda before this shite is over.

Other than that, has anyone else been wondering what the hell they do all day? I mean really, for the most part these guys have a very basic lean to and a camp fire, we are talking like maybe 4 hours to set up both. What in the hell have they spent 20 days doing? There has to be way more time going into filming than actually surviving. If you can't find food on a river oasis in 20 days you aren't looking. Hell I can walk in the woods behind my culdesac right now and find something to eat.

Unless you're talking about worms and other grub, no you can't.

I think that may have been staged.

Worms, grubs, crawfish in streams, nuts and berries. You can do nothing but forage to survive if you need to and still not spend anywhere near a full day doing it. And this isn't in an area where there are large animals that can be killed with a simple spear, kind of surprised it's taking them this long to come to the conclusion that they should hunt large game like rays and eels in the shallow water.

It isn't like they have to think ahead to survive a winter or drought, they only have to concern themselves with the immediate 40 day window.

I don't either but a few I remember.
Jeff said EJ, Hakim and himself had somethign like a 3 hour walk to get fresh water. THey did it every morning and night and drinked as much as they could. They made it out to be Hakim was severly dehydrated b/c all they had was barrel cactus. Jeff also said they caught fish everyday at their original spot, but they only showed them catch 1. Also said they were dumbfounded how the turtle got out the trap, and pretty much insinuated they might have been sabotaged by the production crew when they left for their afternoon water trek. The turtle is protected out there i think.

Dani said she had a fever the first 4 days and did nothing and almost tapped out, but that never made it to tv. Also said her and Alana weren't laughing at Shane like it was portrayed on tv, and that laughing scene was from something else not about Shane, although i don't believe that anymore after watching epsiode 4 last night and see her and Alana act like bitches to In-Shane.

Jeff, Dani and Honora all said the producers sometimes make them say things over again in a certain way for tv, and all have accused them of patching scenes together for tv with actual scenes that weren't a part of each other.

To me, it's day 18, Jeff and EJ seem to be thriving, doing well enough to make a 13 mile trek across the savannah, yet all they've told us is they ate 1 fish and barral cactus with very minimal water, which just isnt' true according to Jeff.
Luke and Chris look like they are enjoying themselves and on vacation.
We've seen maybe 2 hours of their 18 days out there so far over the first 4 episodes. there's a lot being left out.

It for sure was. You aren't letting that bad boy just hang out while you peruse the jungle. I also found it odd that two teams found two big arse identical looking turtles in the first week, neither ate it, and now nobody has seen another in like 15 days since. That turtle was brought on set for sure.
