All of the Transformers movies

I hate these movies. They are awful. I hate Mark Walhberg and Shia. I hate Megan Fox. I enjoy yelling and laughing at all the plot holes.

But I watch because its fricking Transformers.

Does not compute for me.

Resident evil movies after the first 2. I knew they were going to completely ignore the source material and the jump cuts and rapid editing makes me cringe but I loved the games so much I just have to watch.

Starship Troopers is a legit great movie

People say this about RoboCop, too (yes, I know, both directed by Verhoeven), but both movies are just plain bad. I like them ok. Starship Troopers is better, IMO. But people saying these movies are great because of some satire I think are full of shite. No one's convinced me otherwise anyway. Although to be fair I haven't revisited these movies in years.

ETA: and yes, I've read the Atlantic article. It's hogwash. The book was satire. The movie is rubbish.

Ooh good answer. I haven't seen this in years.

Probably Wicker Man and Gone in 60 Seconds. They're such pieces of shite, but if they're on I have to watch.

I guess I just don't watch movies I hate, much less repeatedly. Never that bored. But that's me.

I'm this way too. These are only a few situations where I think I would rewatch a movie that I didn't like. A movie that I saw and disliked as a kid, but I thought I might appreciate as an adult. A movie that I didn't like, but someone that has movie cred with me thinks is wonderful. Any Coen Brothers movie, because some of them get better with rewatches.

Don't just sit through movies that I hate.

I wish I still had enough free time to "hate watch " something.

Showgirls is debatable, because if you turn off the sound, it's one of the greatest movies of all time.

Or if you do an Ultimate Director's Cut that is only 8 minutes long and leaves out every scene with clothing anywhere in the shot.

It really is a horrific movie. When naked Gina Gershon and naked Saved By the Bell girl can't get me to rewatch, something went seriously wrong somewhere.

Con Air. Not sure what I'm doing to myself but it somehow managers to come on. I blame TV for showing it far too often.

Jurassic World. We finally get to see the park built and the filmmakers completely squandered it!
