I've watched a lot of bad movies, but I have never walked out on one. The only time I really got close was Watchmen. I was so excited to see it, but it damn near put me to sleep. I could literally feel myself nodding off. I was praying it would just hurry up and end. Had I not been with friends, I probably would have left.

The Good Shepherd, I had such high hopes going into that movie too.

Man, my 2 friends and I only made it through because we were blazed and the sub had blown in the theatre. Every time a dramatic moment occurred it was followed by a little "toot."

I barely managed to hold in my laughter until the end of the movie where one of the characters drops this nugget:"Some people ask me why do you call yourselves "CIA" and not "The CIA." I say to them: do you say "God" or "The God.""

At that point I couldnt hold it in any longer and just bursted out laughing.

I walked out of one of the Die Hard movies, I think the one where terrorists takeover DC?

And yea, Avatar is likely the most overrated movie of all time.

I've walked out on two movies...

Johnnie Mnemonic
Don't Be a Menace in South Central While Drinking Your Juice

I've tried to watch both movies at home over the years. I can't finish Johnnie... It just is so bad that I get frustrated and turn it off.

I enjoy Don't be a Menace now. I mean, it's terrible and really not that funny. But I still laugh because it is terrible and completely over the top.

Went to see the first Transformers, but the theater had tech difficulties. Told us we could go in any other movie. They were showing The Simpsons Movie. Didn't make it very long into that and I always liked the Simpsons. We got a voucher for the movie we were supposed to see and this was on the house, so it doesn't really count. But still.

I was close to walking during "Legion". Loved the idea, but that movie blew!

Saw "The Spirit" on Christmas Day, and had I not been with friends, it would have been splitsville.

I walked out of Wolverine Origins. My wife was shocked because I love comic books and because I have a need to finish any show or movie I start watching to completion. But that movie is easily my least favorite comic book movie about a Marvel character.

As opposed to figuratively walking out?

I don't think I've ever walked out of a movie before it was over, even if it was one that I didn't really like. I usually only go to movies that I want to see or know/think I will like though, so hating it so much that I want to leave is never really a problem for me.

The closest I've ever come to leaving was Freddie Got Fingered though...wasn't my choice of movie and it was even more awful than I expected it to be. But I still didn't walk out; I just went to sleep.
