I'm glad I didn't see one in the movies. I watched the second one and the last one on HBO just to see.
I turned off the first one and never watched it through after the "sparkle in sunlight" shite. frick that. The universal truth of vampires is that sunlight kills them. Unless they were in the third trimester of life as a fetus when their mother became a vampire, in that case then obviously they will be half-breeds upon birth and able to live in sunlight. Obviously

Since the OP said he walked out on it, I'll add that I saw Avatar 4 times in the theater because it was such a fantastic spectacle, and I've only seen it once since then because it's just not the same on my TV, even in Blu Ray.
This.
I loved Avatar. I saw it three times in the theaters and loved every second of it. I've only watched it once since and it was in my parents media room where they have like a 110 in. projector and I still felt like it didn't do it justice.

I walked out of cloverfield, but only because the POV camera that was shaking all over the place gave me motion sickness.

Had you not seen the previews? Did you see anything you weren't expecting?

I had to to urinate 15 minutes before The Thin Red Line ended. I waited in the lobby for my friends. Never asked, "How did it end?"
A buddy and I got lit up real bad and tried to watch the 1977 animated version of The Hobbit. It freaked both of us out to the point of having to leave.

I never saw that until it showed on DVD. I thought it might have been a good movie to see in the theater.
