I bet it's fun to come up with this nonsense, though.

I love how the words are censored but violence is not.

One of the funniest I've seen was from the original Vacation.

Clark gets lost in the Ghetto and asks for directions...

Original:
Clark: "Excuse me Homes, can you tell me how to get back on the freeway?"
Pimp on street: "Yo frick your momma!"

Edited for TV:
Clark: "Excuse me Homes, can you tell me how to get back on the freeway?"
Pimp on street: "Yo , who do I look like, Chistopher Columbo?!"

Between the frustrating bleeps, cuts and commercials, I don't watch movies shown on television networks except for TCM.

DVRs, Netflix, Amazon Prime, On Demand.

I hate watching rated R movies on regular TV. It's just not the same...

Censorship rules are odd to me, though music censorship is funny at times.

On the unedited Rap station I heard the song "ALl about the Benjamins" which I thought was cool back in 1997. Anyway.
Lil' Kim is wrapping about sucking dick and fricking and all that shite, but the verse "Stack chips like Hebrews" was edited out. So you can vividly describe fricking and sucking in a song, but can't say you are rich like a Jewish person?

IFC doesn't edit or cut their movies but do have the commercials which isn't terrible. My biggest problems are the edits and cuts for time

I'll see 8 Mile on the channel guide every once in a while...What is the point of showing that censored?

You know for the longest time I thought "Eat my shorts" was a TV edit for eat my shite for The Breakfast Club.

I didn't realize that was the actual line until I saw it on a DVD or something.

I 'member watching Happy Gilmore on ABC Family one time and the part where Virginia met Shooter and he normally said "you know it would be great if I could get a Pepsi." It was changed to "you know it would be great if I could get a breakfast".
